  1. You're right about being rare. There's virtually none left in any of the wrecking yards in the whole Niagara region. The new wrecker model is keeping vehicles that are no more than 7-8 years old. They recycle them after that. In fact, I have a 06 Dodge 2500 and its considered a 3rd gen which spans to 08 with some parts extending into 09 and I call weekly several wreckers to find parts and there's NEVER anything available. Its annoying the borders are still closed too because I know sitting right across the bridge is like 100 of them in the yards there because the States keeps a huge variety of vehicles in their yards still. All I can say is between these 2, and yours, you'd be able to keep things going for a LONG time. Maybe the 2 of you can go in together and split the costs for toys? Just a thought.
  2. Niagara Region, Ontario. I'll make an edit to previous post thanks.
  3. Ya. I was just telling someone that Time is definitely the rarest commodity I have. I dont have time for interests that take very little time to enjoy even let alone spending countless hours on the Pathfinders. If I can't enjoy an interest on the toilet, then I dont have time for it. Thats the only free time I have these days. I'll try and get photos up of components, and vehicles in current state, but need to drive to where they are and take pictures, then I'll upload them here. But as it stands, I'm not parting them out guys. Sorry but I just can't. Not only do I not have the time to deal with that, but if i do, I'm left with stuff I can't get rid of so All or Nothing. Lots of great components though. Hell, buy them, take what you want and sell off what you don't and part them yourselves if you've got more time then I do and you're likely going to have a lot of these parts for free.
  4. Hello Everyone. Its been a very, VERY, long time. My life's been so overwhelmingly hectic for the past 7 years I've had very little time for anything. Since I was last around, which was when I handled the A Pillar 3 Gauge Pod manufacturing group buy, I've renovated and sold a house, and moved 3 times. My 3 kids are getting so freaking big, 12, 11, and 9. I cannot express how quickly time seems to slip by while I just keep trying to catch up. That being said, I've haven't touched the Pathfinder since I installed the Panhard drop down bracket I asked GrandpaX to fabricate. Since the 2 Pathfinders, mine and the parts donor, weren't on my property and were 30 minutes away, working on it just fell off the map. It's time.... I'm going to have to let them go. I figured I would post up here first to let you all know before I post up on Kijiji incase any of you wish to make an offer to get the goods I still have. I'm not really sure if anyone has any interest but figured I'd post anyway. I'm not interested in parting anything out otherwise I'm stuck with stuff, so its for the whole lot. Whats for sale... ? SOLD ALTOGETHER. NOT PARTING OUT.? -ARB front bumper Modified for 3" Body Lift -Custum Bender built rear Bumper. (Nicest rear end ive ever seen on a path. -Rock sliders for 3" body lift -Safari Snorkle -Grassroots Centerlink, with modified idler arm and pitman arm. (Welded stiffening plates) -Calmini Steering system -Rough Country Control Arms -Rancho 9000x 9 way adjustable shocks for use with a 3" suspension -Rancho Steering Stabizer -AC rear 3" coil Springs -Energy Suspension coil spring seats (add a bit more lift) -Warn Premium Manual Hubs -Black Panther Skid Plates -Modified Tire carrier with Locking Jerry can holder, High Lift Jack mount, and 10-12 ft whip antenna, and rear spot light. -idler arm brace -3" body lift -hardbody tranfer case shifter to be installed after body lift. (2" taller than pathfinder one so no trimming floor of pathfinder. ) -Panhard drop down bracket -Moog Upper and Lower Ball joints, tie rods, and stabilizer bushing with ZERO km on them. In fact, EVERYTHING "NEW" I installed has ZERO km on them. Just time has passed. -3 Gauge Pod A Pillar -Headers, can't recall if Nige had Thorley's or Pacesetters. They are still on Donor. Some other stuff too. I can't recall what else. For those of you who know me, you know I put a LOT of effort into whatever work I did. I always cleaned up everything I worked on and am very meticulous when I work. The Patbfinder itself has roughly 92000 Miles on the engine and Trans, the Rear Diff was a LSD model. And the Frame is in great shape. As many of you will remember, I imported the pathfinder from the states after looking for one with a solid frame. It hasn't seen a salty road in 9 years. Been sitting though. Haven't checked it thoroughly though for about 6 years so unsure of current condition. The Donor Pathfinder has a running engine still. Can't recall the KM. Trans was still functional but I recall him saying it was needing some work soon. Donor has no rear axle. I had taken it off to take the Locker out of it but someone stole the entire Axle before I could install it. I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton of things but its a start. If anyone's interested, here's a couple of threads related to the pathfinders. Panhard bracket was the last work I did on it. Some stuff is missing from my build thread, the vehicles were broken into over the years. The new body lift is gone, but there's one on the Donor. Tyranny cooler gone, CB was ripped out, i'm not entirely sure what else, i need to go take stock. I'm looking to get around 4k for the 2 vehicles and everything that goes with them. There's a lot of money in aftermarket parts here, and a solid vehicle to build on so I feel thats fair. Let me know if you're interested. Miss you all here Quite a bit. I've never been part of a better community of people... wish things weren't so crazy for me.
  5. Use a heat gun to warm it up a little bit first. Don't go crazy or anything. It helps to get the piano wire to go thru nice and smoothly.
  6. The Size is correct above. Getting the pitman arm off can be a bear some times. In the end, I had resorted to a large pipe wrench and a 6 foot long Pipe off the handle, and bent the pipe wrench in the process. I have a 800ftlb HD impact gun that did nothing but waist air. Lots of PB for a few days will help things along.
  7. Well, I'm not entirely positive yet. I called the company that holds packages for me near the border and they told me a package has been their since Dec 17th. Soooooo That seems like it's too early to be one of theirs. But who knows, perhaps they sent one to me without notifying me that it was sent out to give me a preview of what the final product would be before the shipments to everyone were sent out. Regardless, I wasn't sure if it was from them or from some other odd and end I might have bought over the past few months. I'll know soon enough. I'm going to have to go over there sooner or later. alabama_lowlife scoobysmak Have received theirs.
  8. Wow that a short edit time limit. Disregard Inyourface1650 in the post above, that one was already changed but I overlooked it.
  9. Koveman Inyourface Adamzan and Teixeira have received their's as well
  10. Hey B, Update page is looking pretty funky. Also dvdswan received his as well
  11. Calicraig has received his and he said it should only need a bit of heat to get it to fit perfect. He's also going to fit in a 3rd screw in the middle someplace as well. Maybe heat is all thats needed to close that gap on the underside.
  12. You know, I thought it was going to have the same clips to mount in place as the original to be honest. I was unaware it was going to be a pre drilled screw in type installation. Hmmmm, I haven't received mine yet since i opted for paint, but you can count on me to be brutally honest with my opinion when it comes, especially after all the time I've spent on this project. I hope these really work out. It would be a shame if everyone is not pleased with the final outcome.
  13. Alright everyone.. The remaining balance was just sent Via Paypal. I emailed them to inform them they could start shipping and painting. It is OFFICIALLY............. OUT OF MY HANDS! Hope you all love the final product. I'd like everyone part of the process to post up on here when you receive your purchase so we can verify everyone is accounted for. Thanks for everyones support. Adam.
  14. WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! Here it is boys! Check it out. They even kept the tweeter shape for those of us wanting it. I think it look pretty darn good! It was a long wait but damn I think it will be worth it! Lets give everyone here a big round of applause for working through all the BS of getting this to this point. I hope it was a good experience for all of you and I'l just so freaking proud of us that a bunch of enthusiasts managed to get out a aftermarket product for everyone to purchase from this point forward. Next time you see a Pathfinder on some forum that has one in it, you can tell them... Ya.... I helped with that project. Nice work everyone. Now....... to find the time and money to install the gauges!!! Enjoy!!!
  15. Funny you should mention that B. hahaha response to my last email sent to them. I don't even have a cell anymore since I'm so piss poor. had to respond and now waiting. until we have confirmation that the product is made I'll keep the remaining half of the cash for security. Have a good one guys.
  16. Alright everyone. Update time. Received a message about 21 hours ago. My repy was this. Hope this is satisfactory to everyone. Seems we're just around the bend now. If anyone has concerns let me know.
  17. Whoops, I actually meant to put 4.6 gear set, not 4.9. 4.9 is actually what I wanted to put in but haven't gotten around to it. Regardless there is a noticable difference between the 4.3 and 4.6 gear sets. I didn't mean that every auto had 4.6 and every manual had 4.3 but I think it was most common to find them in that variant.
  18. I agree with above but also since you have a 5 speed I thought of your Gearing in the rear Diff. A lot of Auto's have a 4.90 gearset which I think would help with low end power a bit. Consider it.
  19. Hey everyone. Got another Update about 13 hours ago. YAY!!!
  20. Received a message 20 hours ago.
  21. Sorry for the late replies. Computer is still not at the new house. Still doing all the reno's and had a birthday. Called the company on Friday to find out where things are sitting. They told me the mold is in its final stage and from there it gets shipped to a plant where they make them all. He said mold should be done by next week, then once he sends it to the plant its usually a few weeks to get a final product shipped back to them, then they finalize the rest with paint, cut out the gauge pod holes, and prep for shipping. We're about a month away from having them send off to everyone.
  22. Sorry B, Been MIA for a while with all this moving, reno crap. I haven't got my PC even at the house yet. Its been over 2 weeks since I've been on. Had 18 pages of new posts to sort thru. At any rate, haven't heard anything new back from them. Tomorrow I'm swamped but lets give them to the end of the weekend and I'll email them on Monday. If I don't hear anything back by Wed, I'll give them a ring on Thrusday. Satisfactory? Oh and for the record everyone, The 2 gauge pod that NWT87PATHY has is not what we're expecting to get. It will be a solid full trim piece top to bottom with 3 pods. Just in case some of you are confused.
  23. Hey everyone. I've been swamped and haven't been around for a few days. I thought I should let everyone know that the reply email from gaugepods.com came back on Thursday night, and I sent a portion of the money Via Paypal on Monday afternoon. Made contact with them and they have begun the mold making progress. It's finally on the go! YAY!!!!!!!!! He'll be updating me with the details as they come up. Congratulations everyone! We've finally gotten the project off the ground! :fireworx:
  24. Hey Everyone. Ya I have a bit of an update. I've had little time lately for anything. My Wife and I finally bought another house after a year of living at the in-laws. We got possession on the 4th and it's been a bit exhausting for the past couple of weeks while we were trying to get everything settled with finances, house inspections, lawyers, Realtors, moving, reno on a couple of rooms before we move in so that it works for our family size, calling plumbers to get rid of galvanized pipes so we can deal with insurance company's etc, etc, etc. The list goes on. At any rate, Been swamped. I emailed them and spoke with them a couple weeks ago about the parcel that I sent back to them, They've received it, and we talked payments. I wanted to send things thru paypal which they told me they needed to discuss, they got back to me a week later giving me the ok for that and the paypal account to send funds. They informed me that any future interest from anyone on here can find the product on their website and that they would be able to just order from them. They will have a pre sale listing on their website shortly and to let everyone understand it will be a couple of months for the products to be ready. I emailed them back and stated due to the number of orders and the amount to be transferred that the community would like to pay half now and rest upon completion. I would send funds promptly when they respond. Waiting to hear back from them. I want everyone to know that I'm doing all that i can to make sure we all get what we are paying for, and although its taking FOREVER.... At least there is something that will actually happen at the end of this. I'm sure I'll get a reply before the weeks out. Sorry for my tardiness.Although I'm working on it, there hasn't been a ton of progress. Just some slow ass emails back and forth working out the minute details of payment, and estimated time deadlines for products. hope that helps.
