Not sure how I missed getting a reply our to you man. I sent one off tonight. As for the rest of you who have not paid for the order yet. We're 3 people away from getting enough orders to take this to market. Come on guys.... Money might be tough for some of you, but if you we're ready to commit, its time to pony up. The rest of us are waiting.

Just bumping the thread to bring it back to daylight. Hey everyone. Going on 3 weeks tomorrow since I sent out Payemnt info. 14 have sent payment at this time. Still waiting on the rest of you. Let me know if you are no longer interested so I can update our status. Lets not wait too long fellas, theres other on here that have paid already and are waiting to see something come of this. Also, the proto type has been made, its ready for fitment, and to have the guages adjusted to proper angles. I also forgot to mention in the mass email I just sent out to all of you involved, that the spot that has the factory tweeter hole, will still be there, it just wont be cut out. They were able to retain the spot. Now this is all just word of mouth from them as I haven't seen the proto type yet. They require the payment to get things shipped so lets get on it. Exciting news! perhaps some of you guys who were interested in the tweeter design, may just very well get a product in the end that will work. Time will see so long as the funds arrive.
-
Ok, So its officially been 1 week since the Payment email went out. I've only collected from 11 of the 26 contributors. I'm aware some of you will be mailing checks and what not which is fine. Those of you who have perhaps forgotten and need a reminder, this is it. Lets get this moving. We're almost there everyone.

I wonder if the fog light wiring is the same wiring they used for the washer pump, just different function. I can't see them desinging different looms to accomodate all the different models. Since thats where the factory foglights would be, maybe they just utilized that wiring to run the washers. Either way..... Weird.

Actually he's right. All the links for search function seem to be on the fritz. I just happened to look for you're Axle Flip MY1PATH and when I found it, The link was dead. I had to check the date, and scroll back to that time just to be able to click on it. Annoying.

Custom 2WD steering system conversion
Dowser replied to Tungsten's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
I'm not sure what they did, but they could have changed the spline count when they changed the steering boxes in these rigs so you may want to confirm they are still the same. I'm with Kiwi. I think there's something different then just the taper. -
If we're talking about on the 94-95 dash style, the farthest one to the right next with the 4 buttons that included the Hazards is a Head light washer button in countries that had RHD vehicles. Must have been strictly a North American option. Weird.

Shipping quotes and Payment information has been sent, "Official Update Post" updated.
-
Alright, Update time. Samples have all been sent, thanks to David29 from Infamous Nissan. Big round of applause and thanks to him seeing how he's not even part of the order process so make sure you give a shout out to him. I got the shipping quotes back and I'll be sending them off to you all individually with your own quote. I was just going to send out the whole quote out to everyone in a mass email then thought perhaps not everyone wants everyone to know where they live, lol sooooo, I'll be breaking it down individually. Give me to the end of the weekend guys, things are a bit hectic with Mothers Day, and I have a Birthday Party tomorrow so I'll try and get them all out to you before Monday. I'm going to completely update the "Official Update List" on Page 1 Post # 10 to reflect the next phase of this process. I'll be posting up the 25 committed buyers that are involved, and once payment has been sent by you and received by me, I'll be updating your name on the list to reflect so. That way everyone will know who's waiting on who to get the money off to the company and officailly get this project off the drawing table and into production. If you find that your shipping costs are too much and you are no longer interested in the product, let me know and I will edit the list. We can only hope that there are more then 20 left or this goes back to the drawing board. OK! So that's where we're at. Looking forward to the next step!

You should List the Moog Part Numbers on here so that people have an easier time looking for what you used. I'm guessing these were them but clarify if I'm wrong. 2WD Inner Tie Rod - MOOG - ES2998RL 4WD Inner Tie Rod - MOOG - ES3376 4WD adjuster - MOOG - ES2900S -
Alright, earlier today I sent out the email with all the shipping addresses, so now we wait for a reply from them. In the mean time, If you guys want a specific color, we need to get them some samples. Just as the update page mentions, the company only has 3 samples at this point, Courtesy of alabama_lowlife. We need to get off all the other colors needed. So as a reminder, they need a sample piece thats roughly 4" x 4" give or take. Here's the list of all the colors, whats already been sent, and whats still needed. Red - Already sent - courtesy of alabama_lowlife from Infamous Nissan Light Grey - Already sent - courtesy of David29 from Infamous Nissan Dark Grey - Already sent - courtesy of alabama_lowlife from Infamous Nissan Dark Brownish Grey - Already sent - courtesy of David29 from Infamous Nissan Brownish Grey - Already sent - courtesy of David29 from Infamous Nissan Tan - Already sent - courtesy of David29 from Infamous Nissan Blue - Already sent - courtesy of alabama_lowlife from Infamous Nissan Light Blue - Already sent - courtesy of David29 from Infamous Nissan Black - Not needed, company makes in standard black We need samples guys, lets get this started. Well, technically its not too late. I'm still waiting on 1 reply for a color option before I send out the shipping list to the company. I'll resend them a PM tonight and see what happens. If you're quick enough with a response I can update and have you on the list before I send it off. PM sent.

That's Brownish grey for sure sewebster. Nice work and Thanks for uploading everyone! That makes this much better for everyone trying to get it sorted out.

Could always set up a bypass filter that runs a fine filter screening 1 micron filter. Amzoils got a nice kit, although a bit spendy, but worth it if you ask me. Most of the damage that occurs in an engine is from the 2 micron and under size anyway. It takes about 10% of the flow at a time and slowly screens the small particulates out. You're supposed to get longer oil changes that way as well. I've been wanting to go this route for a long time.

Finally got around to putting on the Snorkel
Dowser replied to muddfildvaynes's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
What was the rated air flow on that new spectre vs the factory, KN or whatever you had in there. Better I'm going to assume. -
I just did an oil change on my own a few weeks ago and use the napa gold as well. I've got a lot of ticking now as well. I'll be changing it out to see if that makes anything different next change.

Oh christ..... theres a dark blue and a Light blue? *sigh*..... I'll update the list again if that confirmed. I need to get his all sorted out before I send off the Shipping list for the Gauge Pod Pillar since I don't want to mess anyones order up for color. And thanks startibartfast. Thats exactly what I'm looking for. Perhaps the sun will make for an issue when snappiing some of these shades as Kingman mentioned. Hopefully we'll be able to notice a difference.
-
Alright. We've talked a bit about this in the A-Pillar Gauge Pod Thread but i'd like to get some resources for others to utilize so that they can know with 100% certainty the color they have and require. SO, this is what I was thinking. From what I understand this is the list of colors available between the Pathfinders, and Hardbody's from 86.5 -97. If I'm missing any, let me know. Red - Code A Light Grey - Code K Dark Grey - Code K Dark Brownish Grey - Code K Brownish Grey - Code K Tan - Code ? Blue - Code B Light Blue - Code B Black - Code K Now since theres so many Code K options and some of them only available to a Hardbody, people sometimes don't know which they have. light grey to one person might be gark grey to another or brownish grey to another so I'm hoping we can just get that last bit sorted out. What I'd like some of you generous members here to do to help is get those 7 sample colors up here. So if you guys could go out to the vehicle, take a small trim piece off, like the small access door in the rear cargo area, put it on a white background, like a piece of blank paper, etc. and take a picture of it. From there post it up here. If everyone takes a picture in the same way, the minor differences will be apparent. Thanks.

Update time. So since we're on the 23rd now, we're going to proceed with the project at this time. The official design winner is the 3 gauge, no tweeter and currently we have 24 committed orders as of today. Those of you who have not gotten back to me but have shown interest, you have until this evening to reply to the PM's that were sent. The cut off date was yesterday but I'll be sending off the information they require to proceed this evening so you have very little time left. I called the company today to talk of concerns with how the shipping process will be handled and what they want me to do from this step forward. I will be arranging everyone's shipping addresses and sending them off to the company for their accurate price quotes. After a couple of days, they'll send me a reply along with a price quote next to each individual name. I'll then be able to email each of you individually with the total costs to you. At that point we can start dealing with payments. The company will handle all shipping obligations and will ship internationally. He also expressed the need for color requirements at this time too, which I have from all of you, the issue is the company themselves still do not have all the samples required to make the colors available. We need some more volunteers to scour some Yards and gather the correct colors for shipment to the company. On the Update Page, (Page 1 post #10) you see what has already been sent off to them and the jury is still out on how many different variations there were on colors. I'm going to back track thru the thread and try and figure out how many different colors that were mentioned, and then try and edit the update page to represent that a bit better. I'll get a mass email out to everyone committed with everything I just said out incase some of you aren't following this as closely as others. I will not be sending emails to those of you who were conditionally committed for a 2 gauge, with tweeter design, unless, as was stated back on the 16th, you've had a change of heart and wish to still be included. If that is the case, let me know by this evening.

Hey that's great! Glad you found it. Sent you a PM and added you to the List. Just in time. Sunday is the Cut off so get that info back to me.
-
Alright, time for an update. So we’ve hit he mark we’ve been hoping for. As of yesterday, we now have 20 Unconditional Committed buyers and a couple that we’re conditional on both sides of the fence. At this point, I’m going to put a deadline out there so we can get to the next step. I’m going to allow those that we’re originally interested until the 22nd of April to reply with your responses. After that, this project is moving forward without you. As of today, the votes are in favor of the 3 gauge pillar no tweeter and unless 8 more people chime in and commit with a vote against it, that will be the design we move forward with. If on the 22nd, those that were committed conditionally on the 2 gauge design wish to change their minds and pick up a 3 gauge version, let me know and I’ll change your status and keep you up to speed on the email list. So…… Here we are. This project is finally going to move along now. Let the countdown commence!!!

Page 1 Post #10, Or the Official Update Page has been updated with all current info that I have. Check it out. It's damn colorful and I know you bastages love my colorful work. Any feedback? Concerns? Happy with how its all laid out?

Thanks Puckstoper9, I'll eventually get everything all sorted out and have everything organized a bit better. Now.... for an Update. I spoke with Dennis at LoTek Inc. today about a few issues. I got a bit better of an explanation about the making process and what the tweeter set up would look like if that is the design that is approached. Basically the whole unit is vacuum molded so in the end they just cut a hole that fits the factory grill. The exterior portion would be a very close match and you'd probably not notice anything different then the Passenger side from the exterior. On the back side of the Pillar, if the factory piece has anything that assists in or centering the tweeter, or if the tweeter is attached to the trim piece, etc, that will not be there since the vacuum process cannot allow for this. As for getting a price quote on a 3 gauge Pillar no tweeter, he quote the unit would be $5.00 more so effectively $54.99 a unit. And finally, I spoke about how much the price would come down if we were to round up 30-40 buyers and his answer was absolutely nothing. First off he mentioned that the minimum order is usually 30 and not 20. The website is outdated and production costs have increased over the years. He said he will do a minimum order of 20 for us but he claims they will make little to nothing on the project and even with 30-40 buyers the price will not change. I was also told that the end product will most likely retail for about the same that we are paying now as well so there is little to gain in that respect by getting in a group buy to save a few coins. To be honest, I wasn't really all that pleased to hear that with all the hard work that is done to make this project happen, getting so many people together for such a large group buy, that if we get them 20 more orders they can't do sh*t for a discount. After all, we're paying for the mold to be made so they can collect on any future order. At any rate, That's where we're at for up to date info with the company. On a different note, I'll be making some changes to the Page 1, Post #10 in the next couple of days with a few additions and we'll narrow this whole process down a bit more. I was unable to send out PM's last night due to some irritating issue with the forum, and it's getting a bit late for me tonight. Tomorrow night will be better for me. Ciao for now.

Sorry Scott, Pretty much every person that has emailed me hasn't received a return email yet. BUT, have you checked Page 1 post #10? your name has been green since the day you sent it. I've been updating the list the same day I receive emails so its all good to go. I'll be sending out a mass email to all the committed buyers soon for a few more tidbits to add since as this is progressing I'm seeing a lot of people are on the fence due to the tweeter, no tweeter thing so going to get that worked out once and for all so it's not an issue down the road. I'll also be RE-PMing all of you who haven't gotten your lazy asses around to emailing a response. I really need to get around to posting up on NOAS and RR too so hopefully that will give us some more. I'll contast the company tomorrow to see if the tweeter hole will look identical to the factory option, (which I believe it is) I'll also get a quote on a 3 pod no tweeter so we can see if prices change. I'll let you know when I know more.
