  1. 4 actually..... And you missed the fine print in my Sig... 93 300ZX.... #4 #2 #1 Dont have a handy pic of the 88.....
  2. Now all you need is a Pathy for the weekend up at the slopes....
  3. May be easier just to get a whole new mirror assembly....
  4. hehehe... The whole point of getting stuck with the girl friend is to ..... nm.... glad the recovery was only a phone call away.... I have had clients call me to pull them out...
  5. Our Pathy's have radio's and Speakers????
  6. You Play you Pay!!!! hehe sorry I have had this little challenge... worse case is you get to swap out Starters... If you can get it running, take it into Autozone ect and have them test the charging system... then your where you need to be to get a new starter.... Remember after u remove the 2 14mm bolts turn it so the solinoid is in the 12 oclock position before sliding it foward between the Motor Mount and the frame, then a little counter clockwise to get it the rest of the way out over the center link...
  7. Easiest way out side of the above mentioned ways... Remove the 2 14mm bolts holding the starter in, slide it forward about an inch or so... Slide in a stout regular screw driver and jam it in one of the teeth on the flywheel.... reverse for torquing the crank bolt.... Much safer than bumping the starter.....
  8. Were I to add another set of Thorley to one of my Pathys, with or without broken studs, I would upgrade, unless of course I already had.... and yes they do fit Auto's Linky in the sig for the ones I have on my 91 Auto....
  9. I was gonna say... you got a brake job in the near future
  10. Have you ran your codes???? Could be O2, MAF, TPS, EGR... Codes please... Pinned Sticky in the "How To" Section...
  11. PM Answered... If your going to have the motor out.... easy access to the broken studs and perfect time to replace all of them and upgrade the exhaust manifolds to Thorleys..... DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Dang thats Pretty.... someone forgot to install the H2O pump before they put the timing belt on....
  13. well if you would give up your life and spend it with us, you would not notice big changes.....

    THANKS!

he'll be back in a week or 3 with a WD21..... The A6 is nice but you cant go as many places as you can with a Pathy...
  15. While the motor is out... Thow some Thorley's on it.... Timing Belt, Water Pump, t-stat... Do it all while its easy....
  16. Mad, Its pretty easy to swap things over: Strip the New motor down to just the Block and heads.... Build it back up using all of the parts off of your old engine. Dont be in a rush and have fun. We are only the Internet away, and I would be happy to give you a phone ## if you think your stuck or are having a challenge.... 2 engine stands and a 8'x4' table come in handy....
  17. When was the last time you did your timing??? A small adjustment could change your power curve a little
  18. Holy Error Codes MZ.... I too would try the reset and see if it comes back. I did that on a Leaking injector code, no smell, no visable evidence. Then move onto the 1, 3 and 5 injectors that you can get at without removing the intake... It could be as simple as a loose connection. Clear the ECU then if it comes back again, its on to 2, 4 and 6... While your in there, it would also be a good idea to swap out some old coolant and Vaccuum lines.... Depending on Milage, now may be a good time to upgrade/replace injectors
  19. Your going to make me go and look now.....

    timing?

Turn the motor over by hand until you can see the timing marks.... Mark them with a Red or other highly visible marker. This is assuming when your timing belt was changed the crank pully was put on correctly.... If you were playing in the mud and water i would also suggest swapping air filters, cleaning out the Box and MAF....
  21. No Trimming... just what the tires have already rubbed out of the way
  22. 3"SL here and 33x9.5R15 on 15x8 with 4" BS they rub when flexed.... Not so much any more as I have Rubbed the wheel wells a bit over the last year.... I ran my 88 stock for many years and only got High centered once on a stump, and stuck in one sink hole that I drove out of the following morning....
