  1. 33x9.5r15 on 15x8 with 4"bs... very little rubbing when flexed with 3" SL....
  2. IIRC. the top plug is part of the engine wire harness its self (EGR)... 1 plug under the throttle body, the plug on top and the knock sensor and it goes around the back of the engine and travels up the passenger valve cover to the 3 plugs at the front.... (I know im close, but 2 beverages and a 500mg oxycontin later) The clips are for the throttle cable and ... LOL I had a whole pathy to look at when I put mine back together.... yes thats the ground wire to the block...

Did you also get the Harness and ECU? I also have a DE in the garage, but its in the 93 300zx minus the little stuff I have stripped off... VGPower has a guy with the DE swapped in a HB... It will fit, its just tight... not a simple drop HP upgrade... Out side of the car, i have a few acquired a few parts for the swap... This will be my spring project....
  4. JDM 160'.... Im running OEM 170's in all 4 pathfinders....
  5. There was about 15" of missing teeth...
  6. And if you want to know what the insides look like after it goes... Ask Martin he has my blown motor.... in pieces...
  7. I would suggest checking for error codes...
  8. its not that difficult to change... theres a write up on it in the how too... If you dont change it, and it goes... $900 just for the new motor, or 400 for new heads and you still have all the labor... labor is actually less for a motor swap then a full head job... if you want some pics of a slipped belt, i have several... Ya I did not listen to the advise either... please note JDM swap in my sig....
  9. Who else noticed how prepaired this pathy was??? Shovel Pull Stap Work Gloves Change of Boot Extra Clothing Water Appears he ate the food while awaiting the flashing lights... Did not look like fun, hope everyone was ok...
  10. I knew slick had a pic of them... Still looking for a clearance shot.... worse case we can get her to take some new pics under mini's hood and through the wheel wells... my camera is AFU'd
  11. I just went out and looked at mine... The tubes are not even close to the frame rails... just the collector where you connect the cross over/drop down pipes. Somethings not looking right... got some more pics???
  12. it is a fug snit.... You got those torqued down correctly?
  13. pull the Skid plate, climb under and look up. IIRC: 12mm socket with atleast a 6" extension... 14mm and you have to crank the pully around so you can stick the socket through the access hole to loosen the upper bolt.... That after you remove everything else in the way....
  14. Fun Times ahead for you.... Mine were also done in connection with TimeBelt changes.... Now im wondering if we did Olivers too?????
  15. When I swapped out the rotors on my 91, I had the new one(Drilled and Slotted) resurface because they were .012" out.... That was brand new out of the box warped.... What really amazed me was I had them checked prior to installing them... cost $10 each...
  16. JDM Swap or maybe ask, I know several people that have responded to you that have an extra Pistion/connecting rod laying around... Jdm motor will run you from 400 to 900. Cheap compared to say blowing a motor 10 miles from home after you have done all this work and then having to swap the motors.... ***looks around, oh that was me because i did not change a $30 t-belt when it was suggested... Bet I could pull my motor in less than 2 hours alone, and that includes cleaning out the garage....
  17. *Deletes Grocery Getter Comments on the CaR50. Welcome... If you click through the main screen to your Model of Pathfinder, Im 100% positive you will find your answers... I will also agree with Glen in that Xplorx has a nice R50...
  18. swap them all out with the Z studs, save yourself the head ache fairy visits down the road....
  19. Anyone got an extra spline shaft he can borrow for aligning the clutch plate???? Not having pulled a Pathy 5spd motor im not sure... I know the one 5spd tranny I dropped along time ago, the second time with the shaft saved an hour on trying to slam it back in.... you can also tip the front of the motor down a little, jack up the front of the tranny a little, but putting it back in with the New??? Clutch and pressure plate could be interesting...
  20. Did someone have there Cheerio's pissed in this morning.... Yelling at nothing... That or hes so cold he got to yell to stay warm....
  21. what kind of idiot replaces the clutch after they put the motor back in the rig??? Nothing about exhaust manifolds... could have spent the $$$ on the t-case gears on some Thorleys imo... Since they Said Calmini you know what left they will be using...
  22. Looks Great When I did the final set up on mine before the Alignment, I had the rear sitting 3/4" higher than the front, measured to the lip of the Wheel wells, with a full tank of Gas... when fully loaded it sits level, and after about half a tank its 1"... Then I blew the timing belt 20 miles after the Alignment... and it sat for 9 months...
  23. SL??? did you move the motor mounts??? BL??? did you move the motor mounts??? SL+BL did you move the motor mounts??? If you answered no to all of the above... They Fit... If you have a BL you might want to change the location of the tail pipe where it leaves the back of the rig, and there may be some minor interference from the inside of the fender wells... Basically they will fit...
