First time I have heard of the left cam breaking... MaritimeMan and I both had the right hand (pass side) cams break on us.

yeah ,nevermind I noticed that after I posted. Another idea.. are your vent controls working properly. Meaning can you "feel" it switch when you move the lever from hot to cold?

If it is only rubbing at the extreme right or left (all the way in either direction) you may be able to adjust the steering stops to prevent the tire from rubbing.

Perhaps so they swing towards the curb/sidewalk/etc when opened? So they do not swing out and into the road where passing traffic could hit them... just a thought

Head to the parts store and buy an electric fan controller, then to the wrecking yard and pick up an efan from a 3.8L Ford Taurus, install and be done with it Search the forum for the efan info.. there is a TON of it here

No brackets for the rear bumper. Some or most of them seem to have additional mounting holes already in them (the bumpers) that allow it to be moved up. *As far as I can tell, mine does not have them.
