Wow good work man Baring another wiring issue, take a look at the backup switch , any by look I mean to that multimeter Mine did not work after the tranny swap and I traced it down to the switch, replaced it and they have worked flawlessly ever since

Ok I installed the one Tex (TerranoNZ) sent me tonight, not a whole lot to add to the install notes, but there are a couple things I noticed. 1: The wiring on the one I got from NZ was color coded exactly the same as the light for the glove box. So I simply spliced into the leads for it. Added bonus about using them is that they run directly below (attached to the bottom of the dash pad) the Clino's mounting location, so they are very easy to get too 2: The "nuts" as Nissan calls them (Part #68191-51E0A, See pics below) are available from the dealer. Or alternately you could save yourself some money and just get some from a wrecking yard. They are used throughout the trucks and are the exact same ones used to secure the center instrument panel, to the dash Huge thanks to Tex for finding and sending me the Clino (and one for my yota) And some pics:

He's in Australia, so even if they would ship there, it might not be worth the cost. A wrecking yard for a replacement hook perhaps? You can get a second one and mount it to the other frame rail too

Once mine started it went fast, I replaced it with a used tranny before it left me sitting someplace. Another member here (5523Pathfinder) had his tranny head south the same time mine did. He chose to do the same thing, replace it before it was dead

No sorry, I did that long before I was a member on any Nissan forum But it was not hard at all, I measured what would fit then headed to the wrecking yard are starting checking every suitable rack there. This was the best fitting and best looking rack I found. I trimmed it front to back and side to side (the bars are just aluminum, so they are easy to cut) until I had it sitting where I wanted it. Then removed the headliner and marked the mounting hole locations and drilled. ***measure twice/drill once!*** I used the bolts that came with the rack along with some thick fender style washers and lock nuts on the inside. Only major advice I can think of is something look out for, the roof cross support just behind the drivers seats (in line with the dome light) it was a tight squeeze getting the washers and nuts in there and then tightening it all down. So alignment of the mounting holes is something to consider

Little update, the Flex-a-lite thermostatic controller died on me Friday afternoon. Dropped of the company vehicle and as I started my truck a coworker came over and we ended up talking for 20 or so minutes. All was fine, but when I got in to go I noticed the temp gauge was higher than normal, actually a lot higher than normal! Just as I shut it off the steam started to roll out from the overflow bottle. Tracked it down to a bad connector, or so I thought anyway... replaced that and the fan kicked on as it should, but I only made it about a mile before I noticed the temp climbing again. Pulled over at a gas station and took another look, figured out that the controller was not working. So I pulled the leads off of it and pinched them together, wrapped it with some electrical tape to insulate the hot leads and drove to the parts store. They had the exact same product, under another name and about half the price! *the dead one* Replaced it and off I went One thing I was always unsure about was the lack of a relay in this design, the non-adjustable controllers all use a relay (like the one installed in my yota), while this one did not. even the new one does not use a relay. Well one evening this week or this coming weekend a relay is being installed whether the manufacturer likes it or not! I am not going to have another one go out early again... this one was only 8 months old!

Are you touching the bulb when you install them? Oils from your skin can cause them to fail early as well
