I bought a set of these spacers from NX4.... About 2 years ago, LOL! I have yet to install, I'm hesitating only because of the drilling larger holes for the sake of the heavier duty hardware. With the recent install of a KMA BUMPER AND WARN WINCH, there's more substantial weight in front now. I plan on getting a SFD (Eventually) in the future and don't want to create more work or problems, since the spacers would have to be removed again for a SFD install. Does anyone forsee problems installing the SFD after enlarging the bolt holes for the strut towers???? Just Curious. 1/2" grade 8 welded hardware.

Does your R50 have a 5 speed

5 Speed Manual (original owner)! -
Would a stronger alternator with a higher amp keep it from stalling.....I was warned I would have that issue with all the new lighting and winch(m8000) ....It pretty much snows everyday here...I've been pulling cars out of the snow here, and have had no issues.

I think I'm going with KMA again(now Tactical Armor Group). I was very happy with the front bumper. Here's what I'm thinking about getting....minus all the lights, but with shackle mounts, hitch, tire swing out & gas can holder & jack & cb mount & license plate mount w/ light. TAG Rear Bumper

What do You use the rear in-floor storage cubby for?
OfftourRoadie96 replied to BowTied's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
The only reason I even thought about this subject is because different states have different laws.....some times I would require the gun to be put away out of reach....or clips and/or bullets separate from each other in states my permit is not honored. Except for us Pathy Guys, I wouldn't expect any other people would even know that spot exits. But I plan on getting one of the biometric Gunvaults for under the driver seat.....I just hate the cable idea.....that can easily get cut! -

Hey, I used the search function (as to not repeat another topic)! Since, I've received my CCW PERMIT.....I've been a little Gung Ho in finding or creating places to store firearms in the vehicle and I considered using the hidden compartment under the carpet in the rear storage area. My only concern is being able to lock it? Also with the front console, not being able to lock? Has anyone added a locking mechanism? Any thoughts? -
My post is pretty self explanatory.....FUNNY! IMO (ofcourse)

OfftourRoadie96 replied to OfftourRoadie96's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I added a coated 3/8" cable to my license plate. I Shrink Tubed a terminal ring to the other end. I'll probably go with a quick link thou, if someone really wants to STEAL my plate I guess theyre gonna get it. The Mag Lite clip attaches great to the KMA too! -

What did you do to your Pathfinder today?
OfftourRoadie96 replied to RedRider3141's topic in The Garage
Wow! Great idea! I have an issue with the power antenna being in the up position when listening to the iPod (connected to the radio). It would easily break off in a wheeling situation. Is the switch inside the cab or under the hood? Got a pics of the install? Also, would it be possible to do this at the radio end, can you put a switch at the ant. wire lead from the radio? Not sure? -
Pathfinder rim size please clarify
OfftourRoadie96 replied to bro_die's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I hope the guy at the tire shop knows what he's talking about..... Those 32's will rub , even with a 2" AC lift, make sue your willing to deal with rubbing issues! 31's definitely NO rubbing issues. -
I have nothing bad to say about them, my experience was ALL GOOD! I kinda like the name change, the logo looks pretty cool (It would make a cool sticker!)

VICTORY! Thanks James and MY1PATH! Bad Fuse under the hood, bad bulb in the rear and replaced front 2 corners twice ( at least I have a spare set now! ) I still have one bad license plate bulb out (couldnt figure out how to open it up?) -
I had some Wiring Issues involving my new bumper...which I really screwed up. Thanks to JamesRich (NPORA Member) I got my turn signals properly working (Wiring Issues Link) but I seem to have lost my running lights, Ive got nothing on my first position switch, headlights work, brake & reverse lights work. Just no running lights. Are there fuses for the running lights??? I can't seem to locate if there are.

General Wiring Issues For Lighting
OfftourRoadie96 replied to OfftourRoadie96's topic in General Forums
Thanks alot James! I got the turn signals straightened out right....they blink correctly and sound right. BUT NOW, I have no running lights at all....first lighting position on the switch have no lights at all including the rear....is there a fuse or relay for the running lights, if there is, I'm not seeing it. Headlights work up front, but I also have no lights in the rear, brake light work, reverse lights work, NO RUNNING LIGHTS IN REAR & NO PLATE LIGHTS. Can anyone HELP! -
Don't know if this will help, but on my 96, the door ajar light definitely works.... Alot of times I don't shut the rear hatch properly, and then I'm finding myself pulling of to the side of the road to reshut the door. I know what you mean, the light would drive me crazy! Not sure where the sensor is, but there definitely is one.

General Wiring Issues For Lighting
OfftourRoadie96 replied to OfftourRoadie96's topic in General Forums
I take any reference at this point....I poked my head under there, the new light has three wires, Black, Red & White. If you can supply me with any info as to which wires you splice into would be great. Do your lights function as turn signals and running lights as your corner lights too??? As of right now, I have no "Parking Lights" at all, the first position on the light control switch before full head lights. I screwed this all up! -
General Wiring Issues For Lighting
OfftourRoadie96 replied to OfftourRoadie96's topic in General Forums
No, regular. All the bulbs are good until one blows, it's been the brake lights. I replace, but still blink fast after replacing when applying brakes then back to normal when I'm off the brake pedal. -
I currently have two issues I'm trying to deal with..... #1. Ever since I installed my KMA BUMPER, my turn signal flashers sound and blink faster when the brakes are applied. When I release the brake pedal, they resume back to normal sound and speed. I can only assume there was an issue in wiring the turn signal lights in the new bumper.....the OEM turn signals have only two wires where as the new "bumper" turn signals came with 3, one being a ground wire, which I just left there. After a week or so, I eventually blow a rear turn signal bulb. Any ideas? #2. I have an issue with the new PIAA BACK-UP Lights I just installed trying to get them to light up when I'm in REVERSE. More details about the situation are at this link starting at post #6 PIAA REVERSE LIGHT ISSUE

OfftourRoadie96 replied to OfftourRoadie96's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Because I don't know how! The PIAA switch has that option....up is on, middle is off and down is on when in reverse. HOW DO YOU DO THAT? ANY HELP?
