  1. Car stereos are pretty standardized....they're either SINGLE DIN or DOUBLE DIN. Sounds like yours is DD. My stero came stock as a single DIN + a little cubbyhole slot underneath the radio to fill in the space. You can choose either size single or double, your preference. If you go single, you can either put a blank plate to fill in the hole or I chose to fill the hole with a CB RADIO. Which ever you choose I recommend getting an aftermarket wire harness, makes instalation a breeze! As far 6 x 9's go, you'd have to make slight modification to replace the stock ones. Ours came with 6.5" ROUND SPEAKERS. Heres a link I found using the SEARCH FUNCTION
  2. It WORKS! I just inserted a pre-wired on/off toggle switch 10amp in between the power antenna wire.....now the radio antenna is controlled from inside of the cab. I can now listen to CD or iPod with the antenna DOWN! Switch is next to the rear wiper switch. Also good for ice / freeze daze with bad weather screwing with the antenna. Definitely good idea for the trail, tree branches won't take it out!
  3. yeah my spacers are 1/2" hardware too.... Do you have any recommendations for the sag in the front heavy PF's??? Are your spacers set in stone, as far as how they are made, or can they be "made by request" as far as height go? Maybe a 4.5" tall spacer in the front? Just a thought.
  4. I was thinking the EXACT same thing......I've also kept my NX4's, in fact, I never got around to putting them on! I think a while back I asked Shift 220 about using the spacer, and he said it would effect the CV angle too much with the SFD AND SPACER, Which makes sense. Now after a couple years and my springs have settled and the added weight of a KMA bumper and WARN winch, I see using the spacer as an advantage. I was planning on using the 4" (not quite sold on the 5" thou) spring instead of the 3" for the back, since I plan on going with a steel rear multi carrier bumper. Isn't FLEURYS working on half sleeves to relieve CV angle problems??? Does anyone else see a problem using the 1" spacer?
  5. Here's a very recent topic.....Custom Light Bar / Lights
  6. Long time tradition I've seen on the trails.....wish I could take the credit.
  7. Morpheus Bumper is a winch bumper, it's exactly the same as mine, minus the grille and light guards, also, D-Rings instead of Shackle Mounts. I opted for KMA to paint it for me, where Morpheus went Bare Metal.
  8. Yup, I used only 4 and welded also. For me, the 3rd set of bolts didn't quite make it to the factory holes. But a small metal plate could easily be welded to accommodate the 3rd set of bolts. I'm not worried thou. Morpheus (NPORA Member) has the same bumper and he's had no issues. He's even transferred his bumper to his new Xterra which fits! Believe it or not.
  9. You can't or you won't???? It's just plastic.....I used the holder that came with the CB.
  10. I used the PIAA WIRING HARNESS that came with the lights.....under the basket and down the Driverside A Pillar under the Weatherstrip and into the engine bay.
  11. The PIAA Light switch actually has two ON Positions......On#1 is an on and lit.....On#2 is on when you're in Reverse...... Haven't had time to set up number 2 option yet but will eventually!
  12. Since you're the resident expert on 33's I'll ask you and the forum again. Most of the SFD GUYS are running 16" tires which kinda confuses me. Especially, with strut perch rubbing on 15" rims. I have 15x8 rims with 3.75" BS..... Is my only choice for For 33's going to be 33x10.5x15. I'd like to stick with the BFG MUD T/A's. The only other 33's I saw were 33x12.5x15....I hope to be SFD'd with shift220 kit + AC 2" + 4" WJ springs since I usually keep the back cargo pretty weighted down with stuff and I'll probably get a Full Multi Carrier Rear with Spare Tire. Hopefully by the end of summer 2011!!!
  13. Andrew (01silverpathy) did a custom light rack with stuff you could buy at a local Lowes or Home Depot .......check out his Members Ride section 01silverpathy
  14. I was wondering if it's possible to add a switch to make the antenna move up and down from inside the cab. When listening to my iPod or a CD in the truck, the antenna raises up by default......I HATE THAT! Would adding a simple on/off switch to the power ant wiring harness work? Any thoughts?
  15. I'm pretty sure it doesn't need to be perfectly level, since you should be able to zero it out once it's mounted.....I have an iPhone APP CLINOMETER. Haven't had much time to mess with it, but reviews are Great!
  16. I think you could have 4wheelparts price match....get the lowprice. Then you just download the rebate and print it....I think it's just a .PDF file. If I'm not mistaken....the rebate is coming from Smittybilt and it won't matter how much you got it from 4WP. They would send you a check for $50. Here's the link to the rebate Rebate Form
  17. Did you try taking that price to 4wheelparts???? If I found that price, they'd match it! Then take the $50 rebate that they're offering too!
  18. I'm going to be one of those guys asking questions in the middle of a topic! It seems all the SFD guys are all running 16" rims.....what caught my attention is the 3.75" BS. I have 15 x 8 rims with 3.75" BS. After a SFD, I really don't want to have to buy new rims as well as new tires.....so for me, to get 33"'s, would I be l able to run 33"x12.5"x15" with my current 15x8's rims w/ 3.75BS????
  19. Make sure you get the $50 rebate....and it looks like a FREE COVER as well! Do a price search on the Internet.....my local 4WheelsParts Store "Price Matched" everything I bought from them when I bought my Warn M8000 and ALL my PIAA LIGHTS! Smittybilt Winch / 4WheelParts
  20. Front windshield.... Check front edge of your headliner next time, see if it's damp. Water leaks in through the top of the windshieldunder the rubber seal.
  21. I didn't really read the fineprint with my warranty but the link in one of the post above said LIFETIME WARRANTY, but I'm not 100% sure. Here's that link....Warn M8000
  22. I've search the Internet and have not found ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS....except for minor tweaks or suggestions, most people love this winch. Here's a link to some specs, also claims it's made in the USA! Warn M8000
  23. The spacers are made with the 1/2" holes..... I guess when I eventually install a SFD....I would use a new strut mount, drill out the stock bolts and weld shorter 1/2" bolts.....oh well!
