I'm not sure, the brand name is Raptor. Platinum Look Finish, 24k gold plated hardware. The weight of these were REALLY HEAVY. I dont think its plastic? I don't know? Here's a pic.....

I used the factory wiring harness.... Relay is mounted on the side wall near the battery. The fuse is that white wire hanging in the air in that battery shot. I still need to tie up some loose ends to clean that up, but it's so damn cold outside. I couldn't take it anymore. 17•F. I finished another project today.....I installed my PIAA 1500 Back-Up lights. I mounted them on my Yakima Load Warrior Basket. I used 3/4" Galvanized Split Ring Hangers to do the job which I got from my local Home Depot. I ran the wires with 3/8" Black Split Flex Tube all the way to the battery. I got new Battery Terminals which allow for more accessory wiring.....Winch & Lights. Got them off eBay. Each light has a ground wire which I used the hexbolt for each hatch strut. I mounted the switch next to the cigarette lighter in the cab. Up and running!

Finally installed after waiting for a Solenoid Mounting Plate, which come to find out does not come with the winch! I went with the top mount style vs. The L-bracket style, did not want to block the airflow too much. I'm still waiting on some New battery terminals to attach the power and ground wires to the battery for a more clean install, they have extra connection points for accessories, especially when trying to wire in 3 more sets of PIAA's on the roof, lots more wires going to the battery. I KNOW HEAVY LOAD, hi output alternator on the list! The bracket is under the solenoid here, it was bare metal so I painted it black. Custom made license plate holder Finished install!

Look under the hood....under the plastic square boxes are some of the fuses and relays....the cover should be well labeled what's what.

Mine has a leak.....it's from the front windshield area at the top....leaks near front of headliner and drips slowly straight down from there.....it started after a windshield replacement..... Tends to be a rusty spot on my truck on the outside above the top of the windshield rubber trim piece.

I went with the Square Wire Lock Pin 5/16" x 2-3/4". Worked out great, I kept the Plastic Covers that snap over the hinges by drilling through those as well, for an even more cleaner looking install. IMO!

I was looking around on the forum, found a mod idea in the Newbies Section and was wondering if anyone has done this? Pictures? I also like the idea of an air mattress for the back...does a twin air mattress fit? Rear Seat Hinges - space for sleeping You can drill out the hinge pins securing the rear seat bottoms, and replace them with bolts and wingnuts. Although it's a bit fiddly, you then can remove the rear seat bottoms, leaving either space for more cargo, or for sleeping. The seat bottoms can be arranged to fill the remaining gaps.

There's a side pic on post #15. Keep in mind it's a winch bumper. I only have half the winch in right now, that's what's under the green tarp in the pictures....waiting on a solenoid bracket in the mail....hopefully fully installed soon. I think the design is great, workmanship was good & IMO LOOKS F'n GREAT!

Well, I had a change of plans, I switched my PIAA 510XT's to PIAA 520i's Before After I think the 510's were too small and had a real pencil shaped beam pattern, where the 520i's were more of a true fog light with a yellow color to them. And they just filled in the bumper way nicer too. Now, what to do with the 510's? I was thinking maybe cutting a 4" circle next to the turn signals and removing the grilles on the lights and possibly mounting them into the bumper!!?? I have some PIAA 520ATP going on top and some PIAA 1500's for the back.

Well I wired the PIAA 510's up with the OEM Factory fog light wiring just adding spade connectors to the ends and sliding them right on the PIAA pig tail. I found Relays and Fuses under the hood (BTW). The only thing I had to do was change the 15amp fuse to a 20....The fuse blew on my first attempt turning them on! They seem to work fine.....BUT, one thing I noticed is when I have my head lights on & the PIAA's on, as soon as the Hi Beams turn on, the PIAA's turn OFF!??! And come back ON when the Hi Beams are shut back off. DID THIS USED TO HAPPEN WITH THE OEM FOG LIGHTS???? If so, I never noticed! Or am I now, dealing with a weird Relay issue since I,m using the stock wiring?

I only want to use the pair on the front bumper to use the stock switch....especially since that's what I'm used to. I have 6 more lights to put up top ( 4 front 2 back) which I will use the PIAA wire harnesses. I will likely go with a 190 amp High output alternator before I use these roof lights due to the high draw especially once the winch gets wired in too! I'll give the front fog lights a shot with just the factory switch. Thanks for your input!

I agree that custom rear bumper was KILLER!

I want to install some PIAA 510 (55Watts) on my new KMA Bumper..... I want to use the same stock wiring (as much as possible) and still be able to turn the lights on and off with the Twist On/Off switch for the Original Fog Lights.... I saved the original pig tail connectors (these were cut off the end of the OEM Fog Lights) Is it as simple as wiring the original pig tails to the new light without using the PIAA Wire Harness??? Did the Stock configuration have relays/Fuses with the fog lights???

X 2......I saw the write up years ago Dan did on his snorkel...I just couldn't remember which one he used. I think the Safari Snorkel looks way better.

I know there are different choices for Snorkels....even ones that are not officially designated for certain years or types or the make your own types. Which brands and which snorkels really fit? I found these on line....the say they're made of fiberglas and not the stronger polymaterial. Don't know too much about it, but by looking at the pics do you think they'll fit?

This picture should help. The slider bolts to the frame at point B. Support tube C is pressed up tight against the rocker panel, behind the pinch weld. It is held in place by 5 bolts A through the pinch weld and support tube. Found this on the web.....not my truck but same principle. I've heard some of the bad possible issues but hopefully anything that could not be added or modified!

I got my ROCKY ROAD SUPER SLIDERS put on today, at least one side.....The other side will go on tomorrow and then throw some tack welds on when totally installed..... This is a picture of the pinch seams where 5 bolts hold the sliders to as well as the 4 bolts the mount to the frame.....the bolts were not tightened yet but they butt up to the seam. Some Pics of the sliders installed.....
