Having a Hard time making decision

Didn't "Go Payhy Go" attempt to do a SAS on his r50????? If I recall, His pockets were REAL DEEP as far as a budget went, and ended up finding out it was not worth the effort with lots of limitatations. -
I too have started making payments on my SFD.....hopefully paid off by Spring Time. Anyway, how were the results on those 6" adapters??? I'm really interested in how they turned out? I'm soon gonna start buying shocks, springs, tires, etc.

Did you have to do any modification to fit those shocks, or does it just bolt right up as is? Are those shocks originally for the 2WD f-250 / f-350's (what year, if so?)

I to am in need of a new muffler, and agree "regular" aftermarket stuff barely last a year or two, especially living here in the rust belt. My exhaust seems to be in pretty good shape except for the muffler. Where can I get a Stainless Steel or better rust resistant muffler with the same size ins and out to mount with my existing exhaust??? Any links, brands or model numbers would be greatly appreciated.

Ou of curiosity, is there any other motor option besides the original 3.3? Could the 3.5 go in?

With the nice weather recently, and time at home, I crawled around underneath my 96.....I took a grinder/wire wheel brush to address some of my rust issues. The heat shields above the muffler have practically crumbled away in my bare hands. Should they be replaced or can they be done away with? Also, the foam underneath the interior carpet was soaked and pulled out to dry....also falling apart. Is there a good replacement to the foam and heatshields? Maybe the pink stuff (insulation) & metal flashing for heat shields??

What did you do to your Pathfinder today?

I pulled up my front carpet to finally figure out why my floor mats are always wet....an ocean of water!!!! All dried out now, I think it's due to my leaky windshield or somehow through the wheel wells??? In any event, I'm dealing both.....sealing up the trim at the top of my windshield. Also, planning to spray seal up my wheel wells. Also took a heavy duty wire brush/grinder to the underneath, Knocked off a lot of RUST! and sprayed with Rust Killer and some undercoat. -
Well my temporary fix needs to be fixed again.....my fuel lines need to be replaced. I priced a New Factory OEM send and return line, pretty reasonably priced at around $30 each......now here's the dilemma, shipping is $250 . Since the lines are one solid piece that spans almost the whole length of the truck, it's a pretty long box. I don't know if I'd be willing to pay that much. My other option is to cut out the metal lines and replace with nylon tubbing and just zip tie them up to the rusty lines. I know I'm eventually gonna have to do the same with the rear brake lines too! Anyone else have problems with rusted fuel lines?

Did Nissan even make a light bar for the R50? You could start with some sort of basket up top, and start mounting lights from there. OR, you could go the "Home Depot" route and get those angle brackets with the holes in them already, and mount your lights to those. I believe 01 SILVERPATHY went that route.

I bought mine before the name change....am considering the rear multi carrier too, but not sure if I like the rear departure angle of the bumper.....I gonna ask if they could thin it out a bit. You could save a ton of money on shipping and pick it up yourself, I assume you're from Georgia. You'll more than likely weld some to the frame, and not totally rely on the bolts.....I only got 4 outta 6 bolts on mine. Over all very happy, but expect the wait to build to be double what they tell you. -
I've been out on tour with Ted Nugent since June....I'm now out with a band called ADRENALINE MOB, a new band that's supporting Godsmack. Working hard to finally get that SFD!
