  1. That's strange... So any luck with your problems yet? If not, can you post a pic of this modification to your wiring? I don't know if it could be the source of the issues, but by the sound of it, it just dose not seem right.
  2. This "connector" you speak of, are you talking about the battery-to-distribution box wire? That's the only thing I can think of that fits that description, but I'm not looking at my path so I could be wrong. Whatever it is, why did you have to change this component and add a fuse? Is there some mod I am not aware of?
  3. Looks nice, I was thinking of doing the exact thing when I was doing mine, but I just put it together with no isolator and so far it's quiet.
  4. Welcome! Yay another member from Colorado!
  5. The NX4's should just be one of those items included in the list of lift components to get. Because if you AC lift without them (like me) you will wish you had them anyways. oh and
  6. Welcome! Another member from Colorado! Scary how just that flimsy (the VG33 cover is anyway) thing being gone made THAT much of a difference with the belt! Good luck with the motor.
  7. Welcome! You stopped in Yellowstone for a one month camp out!? NICE!
  8. Welcome! Make sure to provide ample pics of your rig, especially while wheeling in Moab...luckyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
  9. Welcome! Are you SURE there is no good camping in Texas? I mean, you got a lot of land to find something. Here in Colorado there is good camping, but a lot of people are not willing to find it. Or they just don't know about good places. KOA!? WTF!?
  10. If you don't mind some steel wheels, they would be an affordable solution down the road. Black steelies are a staple around this forum.
  11. There is another thread here about Titan rims on a pathfinder and it seems those won't even fit over the stock hub without some machine work. So it seems shops CAN do this type of thing, have you talked to any about it?
  12. 18 inches of rim!!!? You like the "bling" do ya? Hate to see the selection of tires 18" rims gives you. Or is it good?
  13. How far off is it? How much metal has to come off? Personally if I were in the same situation, if it could not be done with a file and sand paper (like it needs serious reworking) I would not go that route. Just hold on to the hubs until you can afford different wheels, they don't NEED to go on NOW do they? I have most of an AC lift sitting in my closet for almost a year now waiting for the last bits to come in. Unless you just really like your wheels, in that case do what you gotta' do.
  14. I get a kick out of their generic IC pic for the device.
  15. Hehe, monogrammed front bumper That, or you had a brush with Zorro Welcome!
  16. Also, my alty died a couple months back, I replaced it with a reman, the noise was present before the alty swap, as well as afterwards, no change. I'm prolly going to just wait till my water pump shows signs of leaking then I'll replace it. Good luck man.
  17. I have a similar noise in my engine, I did the same test by removing the belts one by one, the noise stopped after the fan alty belt came off. I put em back on and fired the engine up and probed around with a mechanic's stethoscope to find the noise is coming from the water pump. It's not leaking at all, and it's a aftermarket replacement with only about 15,000 miles on it.
  18. What the heck!? We have not gotten ANY snow down the road here in the Springs. Well... I should not be surprised, that's Colorado weather for ya'
  19. Motor oil and filter, A/T fluid flush and fill, transfer case flush and fill and all four CV boots replaced.
  20. Advance Auto WEAREVER pads on factory rotors (rotors still good) has not given me much grief, but they do squeak a weee bit sometimes when just coming to a stop.
  21. I went 127,000 on the factory belt and it looked fine, water pump on the other hand was not fine, but it will announce itself when it's ready.
