  1. interesting, any other benefits of doing this other than replacing the IA brace?
  2. Is there supposed to be a ground on the MAF wiring? I don't know what the PO did but there is a stray uninsulated wire next to the sensor, electric taped around the outside insulation of the three insulated wires , I'm trying to track down any possible shorts

  5. well the problem is that is has done this with 2 different alternators, the old one and the brand new (reman) one

  7. alright, brand new battery, new alternator, still the same problem. Had both the new and old alternator tested and both passed. So anyone have any ideas why I'm losing power? She won't run for more than maybe 10 minutes without dieing and won't start back up without a jump. Help before I have to send her to the Dr. cuz I really can't afford it
  8. Quick question, I put a new battery in Sunday cuz the old one died. Now at idle my battery light comes on but when I start driving it goes off, then comes on again after idling for a minute or two. So is it a bad new battery or my alternator going?

  13. allright pulled the whole panel off, which box am I looking for there's a few back there
  14. I'm having trouble finding a grey box back there, is it towards the front of the opening? how big is it? up or down? pic?
  15. my auto door locks have just failed. replaced the 10 amp fuse and they worked for a day or 2 now back to not working. Just so happens about the same time my keyless entry quit working too. I went through the TSB that was pinned and all works, the alarm still works, reporgrammed my keyless entry but still a challenge to get my doors unlocked. Anyone have a tip?
  16. Question. When I go from 4Hi back to 2 wheel drive I get a terrible grinding sound from the tranny and this is stopped in neutral. I'm thinking that can't be good, any ideas? Auto trans. Also does it matter if OD is on?
  17. yep mine are caked like a mofo, I got most of it out, just wondering if i can use a socket, I can't figure a way of getting all the crud out and a socket would be easier than a friggin screwdriver right now
  18. Anyone have any tips on the removal of the screws that are at the bottom of the bottomless pit in the center armrest? I've been dinkin around with these things for like 2 hours. Can I do anything under the pathy? Can I use a socket, or as 88 said in a post I researched, are they actually not like the other four and are actually round screws? Any help much appreciated
