I second the air horns idea -- I had a set of hella twin air horns on my old GMC -- not low pitched, but loud as hell. Can find them around e-bay/online/parts stores for $50ish a set.

I'm with DSM guy -- Try some ingenuity instead of asking a bunch of questions, and then share what you've done As far as the light bar goes, the PO or my truck just took a metal bar and through some bolts and whatnot clamped it to the OEM luggage rack. Drilled a hole in the roof near the passenger side B column and then siliconed the bejesus out of it after running the light/antannea wires. I'd take pics but I don't have the net at home at the moment, and bringing cameras into an R&D lab isn't exactly smiled upon. Anywho, good luck man

SAS = Solid Axle Swap -- basically replaces the Nissan IFS up front with a solid axle from whatever you want to pull it from. Highly desireable (yet expensive) mod if you do a lot of off-roading, as the stock IFS doesn't deal well with being lifted and abused. Although it doesn't seem like your trying to build a trail monster, so its probably not for you. That being said, why restore a pathy to stock condition? More power to you if thats what you want to do, but if it were me I'd want to restore something a little bit more classic, while using the pathy to beat around the hills. diffrent strokes for diffrent folks

It fit on mine just fine and I don't have a body lift. I find that having the front passenger side tire off of the truck helped a LOT in changing it though.

As well as whats said above, you really don't need HD t-bars to run 31" tires -- they come on most of our trucks as stock.

Dense cold air can help for sure, but I highly doubt you'll see any "ram" effects.

I've never felt a need to do an in-depth cleaning on the pathy, but on my VW I'll use a shop vac, armorall wipes, and Meguiar's leather wipes.

Yeah you can hunt with handguns down here. Any hunting mag will typically have an article of some guy taking down a sizeable creature with a .44 mag. On topic: Nice score Rami

From what I know about hydrolock (a bunch of VW guys run with CAI's) the filter has to be completely submerged for the engine to hydrolock. So no I doubt you'd hydrolock with it unless your were in some sort of hell-bent water-crossing scenario. Not that a muddy air filter is a good thing

I was wondering the same thing about the FRAM's -- as I've never heard anything good about them. Oh, and SC, take off your passenger front tire during your next oil change. Thats how I did it using the larger filter 88 recommended, and it makes it way easier!

AFAIK There wasn't a diffrence in ride height between models, so yeah, you should be fine with 31's.

What do you mean by always had constant power? Seems to me like at least one of the ECU wires would always be active :confused:

I'll second that! And unless you can find some sort of speed boot (which don't come very highly reccomended) your going to have to take the front end apart to get at the CV's. Although I suppose if its just the outer boots that are trashed, you could do it on the truck, after removing the hubs and whatnot, but once your in that far its not to much more to undo the axle from the diff flange and take it to a decent work bench.

When I pulled my CV the other week the snap ring was on the inside grove, and I have auto hubs.

Any possibility of doing some of the repairs yourself? From what I hear CV joints aren't cheap when your on shop time. But then again, boot kits only cost about $12 a side if you want to DIY. I'm sure someone else can chime in on the slide pins.
