I'm a huge fan of synth oil. And other than slick I've never heard a good thing about FRAM filters. The pathy has had Synth oil ran in it since about 70k miles, (thank you PO, i bought it with 265K) and as of the last oil change I'm running the larger chevy oil filter that 88 researched for us. Its a wix and didn't cost more than 5-7 bucks at napa.

X2 for the camo idea -- but more because i want to see how it turns out

Not exactly, what I read was some sort of processing that would be done to all the left over parts of cows/chickens/turkeys. It could be involving methane but I don't specifically remember that.

I'll vouch for JB weld -- Its holding together a hole in my VW's oil pan, and has been for two years now. Not a drop leaking As MWS said though, just clean the bejezus out of the contact area. (note for my dubs oil pan, I have a replacement, but keep forgetting to buy a 10mm flex socket everytime I change my oil lol)

I hate to be a nay-sayer, but anyone switching to e-codes should be aware that you may not pass inspections (if applicable) if your headlights are not DOT approved. Just my $.02
