You might also be prepared to replace the strut rods themselves. Once I replaced my bushings last summer the rods were too rusted/worn out to reuse. I have these same bushings on my truck. So far so good.

Today I replaced the lift struts for the rear gate. I also installed some Energy Suspension low profile bump stops under my UCA's. I wanted to finish my tranny oil cooler + gauge + filter install, and my oil filter relocation done, but that will have to be another day.

There is nothing quite like that new part feeling. Today I decided to launch into my tranny cooler/filter/gauge project, which then branched off to my oil filter relocation, which then lead to buying a new optima red top, a marine battery box and enough wire to relocate it to the rear of the truck. None of that actually got done today mind you. For some reason starting one project multiplies into 3 others and they will get done when I have had enough of wrenching. The good news is my tranny filter and oil filter get to share a bracket in the space my battery used to be.

I would replace both of them. If they are already clicking they are most likely beyond repair.

I can accept that as an answer. Weee, not sure if this counts, but I just dropped the truck off to get the windows tinted. Dark windows + dark rims ftw. I'm looking more forward to having a cooler truck though.

I will take pictures tomorrow. Dark rims/tires don't show up so well at night! Get on it already! I didn't have them install longer bolts, but since it's a lifetime alignment I'll order up the bolts and maybe readust the t-bars before taking it back down. I need to take the guys at the alignment shop some beer anyway. I could see there angry arm shaking and frustration at aligning my truck. Still, they did a good job and didn't share their frustrations with me. It was a good experience. I do have Superlift UCA's, and my ball joint angles look pretty awesome at the moment, TYVM. Not sure what it has to do with the length of the UCA bolts though? They did remove the washers I had placed on there when I installed the UCA's, and the shims don't look very thick at at all. I'm also only running 31x10.50's, so my supension lift has remained rather mild, save for the 4 inches of 4x4parts lift springs. I installed new lifts on the rear glass tonight. A worthwhile improvement if I do say so myself! Also put on some new wiper blades. Weee.

Today I took my truck to a firestone shop. I had them install my new geolanders and cragar soft 8's, and bought a cheap tire for a spare. Then I finally bought that lifetime alignment, and they actually shimmed it finally! I cranked the tbars before taking it down. Looks much better now! Will have pics later. Got around to ordering some low profile bumpstops too. Best comment from a shop tech. "I didn't think those tires were going to fit under your truck!" Note - I was installing 31x10.5's.

The anderson connectors clip together in whatever config you need. I believe their larger panel connector does 8 connections, so up to 4 sets of lights. I use them on my electric trike and to extend a charge connections on my motorcycle. They do sell a water proof plug that does 4 wires/connections, but it isn't a panel option. I haven't found them hard to water proof either.

What about anderson connectors? I know they offer a few panel mount options, and the smaller connectors are good up to 45 amps. They are a bit spendy, but I really like them. www.powerwerx.com

I spoke to soon. I saw them on Rugged Rocks and placed an order. Got a refund and a call from Steve today explaining the situation. Yet another reason why I shouldn't combine drinking with internet purchases.

I just browsed through this thread for the first time. Good work! I've never seen a mega squirt going onto a Pathfinder before! I really need to practice my soldering now! I'm curious to see how the individual coils work out for you too!

Same thing happened to me when I installed new shocks last summer. I ended up cutting the bolt in half with an angle grinder.
