Welcome mate, if your going to 2wd this one, you should get another and go the other way, SAS, big lift & 35's, that way you have the best of both worlds.

I have Thule racks, rated to 75-80kg if I remember correctly, but B is correct, they do sit extremely tall.

Oh man, that sucks mate. Sorry to hear that. Would it be worth doing an engine swap? Is the rest of the pathy worth giving a heart transplant? -

I'd keep the bigger tyres and put up with the turning circle, I know my 93 has the turning circle of a small cruise liner, but I dont mind most of the time.

Where abouts does the sunroof drain outlet on these things? Have heard of them getting blocked and causing mysterious wet patches inside pathy's.

Yeah mate, I'm quite a few hours away, I think Dan would be the closest, but hes still a couple of hours drive from them. 37 homes confirmed destroyed, fire started by powerlines falling over.

X2 on the sunroof, if you have one. I have heard of people using a compressor to blow the drain line out. -
Had 2 tyres de-laminate on me today, might have my hands on a few second hand tyres for a carton though. Going to go and have a look tomorrow.
