  1. without sounding like some sort of rebutal...there is no other lamp that you can simply install that simply looks as clean coming from your housing as these silverstars. i absolutly hate that dimmed yellowish white "like a stick of margarine" like this guys light bulb. these lights may not actually provide more lumins or have the same dispersal as another light but since i went throught the lengths of putting my lights on their own circut with 12 gauge wire they are bangin' white and look like the light should be burning your hand in the beam!! the number of ricers out there with those sickly blue like "k-mart" look is more than enough factual reason not to buy bulbs that just emit blue light. on another note i am still trying to get my buddy to pigtail his aftermarket HID's in his beemer to my pathy to see what my housing will do with the light.
  2. I know guys too much free time on my hands...cut and paste item # 7992999977
  3. They should line up with factory flaps, but the trucks that camer with flares had integrated mud flaps to go witht he flares...these are 2 flares for the rear they stop right at the bumper in the back. installation...well you have to drill underneath your pathy in the rear to mount, and they use a sort of push pin to help hold them fast to the side of the truck, i have yet to do anything but screw them into the rear quarter panel and i am going to use good blk silicon to "glue" them to the side of the truck as silicone will not hurt the paint and is easy to remove after it is dried if you want to. i took this coming friday off so if you want me to go and pull them let me know now!!
  4. I got a different truck but... I bought into some Memphis speakers...they are pretty good but i am a sucker for the Infinity products....I have 6.5 2-way speakers in the front doors and a 5.25 component in the back, with a 75x4 Memphis amp for the highs..... .....those stock front pillar speakers are going strong running off the crossover unit for the rear components with amplified power.....I am really amazed after they got real juice and a real crossover how good they sounded so they kept their home. I have no estimate on true recievd power for them. For umph I have 1 Kicker square L715 15" sub and a Memphis 1000d for it to beat me up with!!! LOL My CarDomain...if it works!!!
  5. Just the bulbs, but if you re wire them like 88 shows in one of his pin-ups, they are incredible...i did this to my 98 making high and low on a new circut with larger wire and seperate relays and they are as close to HID brightness without the cost as you can get...color temperature isn't bad either!!!
  6. Tom, all of us with R50's love you but there is no way that would fit on my truck!!! I haven't any idea what the "h" they are, the R50 is a little more oval shape.......however for those of you in need of Terrano look (which i love even more than my 4 by on the fly) there are a pair on ebay.... copy and paste the item number 7986919197 you guys think they would look good on an R50??? -bounce-
  7. please stay calm...if you want to start looking piece by piece...there are 2 rear (left and right) at the boneyard near me...they do not have the mud flaps. I ended up getting the remaining three that i needed from there, I am still short those front bumper molding pieces and a driver side mud flap in the rear. They pinned me for just about $30 a piece for the flares, I didn't care i have been looking for a set or parts since i got the truck in october of last year!!!
  8. So far I have tried just about everything...I cannot get the temp sensor to get out of the 30-40 deg. range. I used the intake air temp sensor inside the fender to measure the temp and the stupid truck is reporting colder temps....I bought resistors and potentiometers to change it but it is not working...these items only raise resistance so the console shows colder and colder. what i have come up with is that the sensor is only providing so much reisistance, i need to show the console less resistance (hotter) so that it reports a temp that is more accurate. i do not know what i can use in line to lower this resistance reading as well as not backfeeding the sensor so the truck thinks that it is too hot out. any ideas out there?? i do not have the ac ambient temp sensor..just the ac switch up front.
  9. I know there are a couple of us looking for these...it says that they are cracked at the collector, but that is repairable....96-99 headers
  10. I used to use 2 quarts of isopropyl in my '94 saturn with 170k to get it through maryland emmissions, low low low fuel amouts, 2 bottles for dry gas a(to suck up the remainder of water that is in the alch.) and 2 quarts of alch to make it burn crazy hottt!! that poor car would run so hot when that stuff was in the tank but it would pass every time with it!!! LOL, i love beater cars!!! You just need to fill up when your done that heat will wear out sensors and get all sorts of stuff way to hot.
  11. good my tukus...they are xtermely sweet...that pathy just lept off that page and out of that vin into the 21st century...hopefully to still be made in Japan!!! Looking like that makes that truck look even more timeless...mad love to all WD21's -alcohol-
  12. Right freaking on!!! I am gigling like a girl at 1220am (despite that mistaken clock that has to be even more west than Cali) because someone else knew what i was listening while i was typing the other day!!! Now if i just had a "64!! Thanks for the pick me up!!
  13. HA HA HA HA HA LOL LMAO ROF The sentence that has the ground described in it has a parentheses and then the letter B which happens to be a smilie!!! P.S. --->I will post when i get a good dedicated sensor for the console and ps ------> anybody here want to buy un-cut and un-installed "X" gauges?? $9.50 plus much cheaper shipping than i paid!!!
  14. Alright, the gauges from the 00-01 "X"...no go. Their speedo stops at 110 mph ...making the spacing different than ours, also the "peg" used for the needles rest position for the gauges is in a different spot so i would end up with two places that don't light up.............is the saga for gauges over?? No the quest continues! The overhead console?? Very hott i am happy and surprised so far ('cause there is a catch) Interesting enough from XPLORx4's personal info (THANKS AGAIN!!!) the Speedo tells the console which direction it is heading...don't know all together how (has to do with the speedo's magnet?)but very cool..schematics say the wire is W/L this means "white with blue" since BL and BK are not just one letter. That took me about 15min to get, but, after that out came the gauges again!!! ***********FROM THE BACK OF THE GAUGE CLUSTER***************** The white/blue (W/L) wire (top right when facing the back) for the direction The black ( wire (center connector) for the ground The white/black (W/B) for the hot (top left harness when facing the back). Reason: this is switched and fused power Temp display has proven tricky, i tried using a $10 Wal-Mart BELL brand accessory temp/clock gauge and just cut the sensor off since it is only a two wire hook up..so far the gauges are displaying a temp that does rise and fall but it is off several degrees (like 60-70F !!!) It does change for the C degrees but its all wrong, my guess is that the new sensor has different resistance values that the Nissan OEM...today for instance it displayed 22F and ICE was lit up!!! don't i wish!! I will call around to try to get this sensor...XPLORx4 any ideas on the name of the sensor?? The web info you sent says "ambient temp. sensor"
  15. Cardomain Linky! Ok, try to understand my input here...when i say behind that clasp it is closer to the firewall!!
  16. After several tank under scrutiny.....the coolant temp sensor has increased my gas mileage on average by 3 MPG...I am now attaining 14.5 MPG city whereas before it was about 11.25 MPG!!! Sweet swap batman this part must be maintainenced!!! If you wat a pic of where the part is just tell me how to re size the photo so it will get accepted by the site and i'll pst it!!
  17. Thanks for clearing me up DJ, I was kinda just throwing the "X" out there in case anybody reading this wanted me to grab it for them!!! ...back to the lecture at hand the air dam milage drop i didn't understand...i would have guessed that the '02+ SE air dam may have helped direct air away from the truck, guess that causes turbulence though huh?
  18. Yet again you are right...i am attempting to install this today along with indiglo gauges from an 00-01 "X" so i wil post the out come. As if that's not enough to do i am also trying to wire up my heated seats today...i just left the parts store and forgot to get relays for them what a dummy i am!! The stock system according to that Phatty info you sent me shows that just like the headlights all the jucie for the seats runs throught the switch...so i guess to run "low" and "high" i will nee 2 relays for each seat!!! Yikes, i should buy stock in Bosch...that crap is expensive!!!
  19. Anybody here try an MSD ignition on their pathy?? I became interested when i saw another member had put it on there gen 2 pathy...so i though i would ask if anyone else tried it and what sort of changes were noticed?
  20. Hey DJ Dank, Try these guys....they are where i got my (power, heated...and working!) leather seats from. linky linky far as an "X" rack goes, I got one in a yard local, but the poor thing was rolled so the driver side is scratched and gouged..but i don think it was bent at all
  21. Ahh yes flex-stone...i miss those days when every fixed up mini truck had flex-stone on the dash.........that hammered stuff is awesome. i used some to match (or close to it) my factory grainy plastic in my CRX
  22. Freaking incredible info XPLORx4!!! I will be depicting those diagrams quick as i am crazy anxious to put this baby up there!!! Pezzy..I will totally let you know!! Thanks yet again XPLORx4!!!! ...and i felt dumb for asking, i would have been dumb for not asking ....edit.....so if i get this right i could actually tag onto my coolant temp sensor and read the engines eye for the coolant temp??!! hmmmm
  23. Yo DJ, that rack has crosser bars just like the "X" could this be?? In my area a boneyard has crossers that are about 90% sweet!!! My only concern is the length of those bars....holler back quik i am sure that they won't last up there!!!
