Called RR Outfitters today...they just finished making the spacers and will ship them out like wednesday or next monday....I never got a call or an email or anything..what's up with service like that?? I thought that i avoided AC for this reason. is it just me that thinks someone owes you something when you pay for it?? i don't expect anything from nothing but when you buy something i do expect to be at the very least "dealt" with. Guy on phone says maybe by the end of next week or the following Monday I will have them....dude, you didn't tell me I could defer payment until the product was made so why in the hell should anyone wait so long and have to call to get answers and sit on the phone for 15min??? pssd that's just bad service.... I called ahead to confirm an order would be placed, and that perhaps the order was in stock and what not, called when order was placed, I was told a date that the company could not keep. called the day i recieved order to inform that spacers were missing gave my number again to get any possible info on situation now i have to call and wait on hold to hear that they just finished making the product that is hosted online for sale and i paid for last month...by the way you probably won't have it until 2 mondays from today!!! "Sounds like sombody's got a case of the Monday's" "sayin' somthing like that were I work would get your ass kicked"..........Office Space (The Movie) I was offered quicker shipping to re-assure that I woul have them by the end of next week, but damn my credit card bill will beat them here!! -
Could anyone please post some pics of the mounting points on a 99.5+ pathfinder?? I am trying to fit some hardware up front on my pathy (98) and want to know how close the newr R50 is/was....pleasezzzz!!

After--with flare pieces ps...no spacers yet. I know it doesn't look like much in the pics, but the flares definately soaked up some of that wheel well gap. -

on my honda crx....here we go again....i have cross drilled and even though you can palm them due to small size...the cross drilled definately gave a few more jabs at the pedal at high speed than the stocker before you could feel the pad smearing. keeping in mind that i use ceramic pads to cut down on wheel cleaning efforts, know that even the "clean" pads had great bite and didn't heat up fast. most of your high rated carbon metallic pads require a certain temp to start biting into the rotor and from then you need the rotor to maintain heat but not glaze the pads due to over heating. i also have never had any issues with either of my 2 sets of cross-drilled for the car. i even had a caliper lock up on the car and cause a smoke screen big enough to hide 2 or 3 cars behind me before i knew that i had to stop for cooling before returning home!!! when i got home...no cracks and in fact i had the rotors resurfaced and am using them yet again. .....ps one set was Brembo and one set was Powerstop.....i saw no differences in the two in fact it looked like they rolled off the exact same assembly line (holes were in same places with same distance), who knows maybe they are different and maybe they are not

Pics will be up today. The whole kit including the spacer set me back $823. The cool thing is I will be able to give you pics without spacers then, hopefullly soon, pics with spacers -
Ok so i will try to help narrow the problem myself as I had a prob with my honda too acting goofy about fuel...pull your fuse from the fuel pump and see if it will start and run after trynig to start with the fuel pump getting power. you will first "flood" because of the bad FPR, then remove fuse to kill fuel pump and try to start her...if this works you will have found the problem for sure???

Today I got my OME lift on...shocks struts OME also...that lift is very sweet. It was 3/4" on the money in front and 2" on the money in the back....however Rocky Road forgot to ship my trim spacers for the front (9/16") that would level out the front and back. This R50 is now a truck...it rides awesome. I had my bud take it mildly off road in a cut corn field and romp it. He noticed that the fan was off the truck or should i say he noticed it was much more "spunky". He was in awe of the solid performance that the lift gave in the field. He owns a '94 S-10 Blazer with 3" of body and 3" of suspension lift with 32" BFG's Results: Cooper AST II (econo tire) ------------->"ok" off road Nissan torq--------------------------------> surprising and in tune with 4WD OME----------------------------------------> "kept me from beating everyone's head ----------------------------------------------- off the roof in rocky/muddy terrain" UNI-Body----------------------------------> "no wonder Dean (XPLORX) beats so --------------------------------------------------- many other trucks" I did pimp the ----------------------------------------------------- videos on the purple lizard site!!! not too shaby of a review from an ole' Chevy Boy!!! Now i can't wait to get larger shoes and the trim packers from rocky road. One ugly issue...i broke a stud off the truck, so now i am forced to figure wether or not to pay out more $$$ to get my Warns, Cross drilled rotors, and steel brake lines (i own the lines and need flushing also) done all at once or just one piece it and keep some $$$ around!! That really sucked! Pics :allclean: after a bath tomorrow! -
I forgot to mention that changing the brake fluid and flushing the old crap out could stop heat fade also!!
-
I have steel lines coming for my truck, I have seriously thought about the cross drilled rotors, my rotors only have about 9K on them they should be near new...I just want less heat fade and less spnge feeling. I did the line on my CRX and it was a formidable improvement. here is a link to ebay for the lines...this is a good price.Steel Lines

Yes please, update us!! I did not take the rubber off, I sanded a bunch, primed as much, and just used a smaller brush in the tight areas....I seriously love this bumper guard!! I bought rear back up lights today for the truck too!!

Snosk...thanks anyway as I am really hungry for feedback on the likelyhood and outcomes!! Lewisinc...you have proved in the pst to be an invaluable resource...this is a great idea...THANK YOU! I know a couple guys that work at this stealership and they are very col even minded guys, but when it comes to clout...well they lack but they are great guys none the less. I am definately looking to use whatever resource that I can...I don't want to have that bill at 120K--I know that I will still have my pathy then too! Thanks for all the responses and please do not hesitate to continue responding..this will help me and any newblood in the future!

I know that we have tried to cover this topic several times... My truck is at 93K miles plus now and I do not want to run out of my chance to get these manifolds replaced. Is there a way to know if they are leaking or not for sure and if they are not can they be made to leak, so that I don't get screwed at 101K miles???? Running out of opportunity to have them replaced is my biggest fear as i can't do this repair myself and the cost is staggering. I am afraid that what I think i hear is valves and that my local dealers would just turn me away since it may not be leaking. I know they are going to leak and it is just plain dumb not to get them swapped before the 100k is up...........can anyone help?

Do the fan...have I said that enough yet?? That fan is hott, or is it cold? Anyway it is well worth all $ and efforts!!! (pounds on table )
