I have those blazer bulbs in the front lower turn signals of my path...I have painted all of the lense spare 1/4" of amber that is not even noticable until blinking...Autozone had those bulbs, I haven't seen them there since...I dunno what the deal is but I really do ike them!! I needed the 50w's to get throught that small opening enough not to attract the local bacon's attention to a dim tunr signal. For those of you that noticed the large cut out under the lense, that is where the grill for the ram air was and will shortly be the residence of the factory fogs relocated (and behind black grills again!!).

I have LED's in the rear tail/brake, and the turn signals, as well as the front corners of my 98 pathy...I bought all of them from VELOCITYLED (s) on Ebay...they were expensive (like Venge said compared to halogens) but they are very very hot!!! I will try to get some pics for you but nothing blinks/repeats like and led and the brake lights are really bright with super quick reaction time!! My Red Tails My rearn turn signals I am not happy with the front markers since they are note very bright as a 194 LED, but I am buying the LED domes, and the LED back up lights very soon!!

Check the tolerance...whew that's close...can you tell where it rubbed??? I am thinking that I will order another set of spacers and get the extended arp wheel studs...what so you think??? I ask because the way that the R50 suspension works, the strut is at an angle so it will compress up into the frame work, away from the tire but anyhow all ideas are appreciated!!! ps........I love these tires!!!

Got the wheel spacers..installed the wheel spacers...had to modify the wheel spacers...........they wouldn't fit over the 4wd hub...cut them open installed them, put new gorilla extra deep lugs on...all is safe and not rubbing for now!!!

Parts for Pathy A while ago everyone got together and made a link of diffeent web-sites... for anyone that didn't save it here it is...large and in charge. Some of the links are now expired but for the most part they are still good!

Yep~ I got the OME lift with 1" spacers in the front to level it out and got the 265/75/16 REVO's...they rub the strut tower pretty good on the inside tread blocks....spacers and hub centric lugs are on the way...if that doesn't work then I am getting extended wheel studs and a second set of spacers!!! That apparently makes me off by 13.2%!!! Lol 60mph now = 67.9 mph!! --->This is something to keep in mind when you are figuring your MPG...my stock size 235/70/15 turned 722 times in a mile....the new size 265/75/16 turn 637 in a mile...a whopping 85 times less to cover the same ground!! So take that number times the number of miles your trip-odometer says and divide this new number by 722....add that to the number of miles on your trip odometer before dividing by amount of gallons it took to fill the tank back up...voila!! Adjusted gas miles!!

SO OK, My new tires rub (R50 w 265/75/16 Revos...OME lift with front spacers). They rub all the time! Lol, will I give up? Hell no! I am ordering .25" wheels spacers tomorrow and spline drive lugs...my question is has anyone else done this and/or has anyone bought the ARP extended wheel studs??? The tires rub against the strut/coil tower. Grinding is not an option due to the fact that the current surface is rubbing but smooth and I think if I grind it it may not be as smooth...plus that cures a sympton not a cause. I will post pics before I get vandalized with that cute "this post is worthless without pics" banner!!! I am going to take clean pics and upload tomorrow!! edit: only the front rubs...and I know---->if I had T-bars that wouldn't happen

I read both sites...totally agree! It sounds like such a beast now, and it really dod make a difference in the trucks power. I have installed 265/75/16's now (REVO"S) and she is slow all over again....damn they were heavy!! I will trim my maf adapter up to look like those and I must try to find this aluminum piping...I dig that! Throttle response is indeed way up over the stock box, only drawback is that my intake has a low pitch hum to it when at idle, blip the pedal and it is gone, sounds like perhaps the bent plastic "S" without that little butter dish resonator box makes a "blown over a jug" sound!!

I gave in to concensus and just went to autozone and bought a MAF adapter plate and a cone filter..........but I also cut off that plastic boat/butter dish silencer thing and wrapped my intake with heat tape and sprayed it black. The A-zone pop charger that I made roars like it wants to eat a Vette!!! ($38 after tax) I had a friend drive the truck and he is convinced that the truck flows through gears easier...but the little b**** tires will be off soon and I will have to get used to driving slow again!!!

A jeeper friend of mine confirmed this before I came back to see all of these reponses that you must change both or you will drag you truck with one or the other!! or perhaps burn up the T-case! So with 32's on an XE should I just get a locker or should I get the gears and swap??

Does anyone know how to ID an SE rear diff?? Are there numbers on a tag or a stamp or anything that could tell you whats up?? I have 3 R50's near me but the JY has no idea what model they were and due to the pickins left me neither!!! If I had to guess I would say that one is an XE and one is and LE, but the third could be an SE...all three have their rears in them. The one that I think is an SE has leather and flares....the leather is not power and the flares are not color keyed with the truck...so maybe an SE?? Any help is appreciated!

not sure lewis, at 40 mph before she is warmed up it runs at about 2K, then when it gets to temp it wll drop to just below 1500K. ****put my stock tire size back on for now and it shifts even lower!!!***** those bigger ones weigh a ton!

would love the pics...how much cheaper you lucky dog!!?? did you notice any difference and for the money this thing costs is it worth it? thanks Chris (98)

I think that this is part of the closed loop thing...after my path gets half way up the water temp meter...she too will then shift into overdrive. I believe it is only over 40mph and fully warmed up.........now, wether that means the tranny is fully warmed or not I don't know...it may just be co-incidence that the water temp gets where it does when she shifts up.

Wow, Love my PIAA's I bought the 525 SMR...a dual beam with the little LED city light in them...very cool. Does anyone here have any experience with the Weapon R secret intakes?? I was looking at one for my 98 Path...I have listend over and over to xplorx4's path on his website and ove the sound of it so i started researching intakes...I am liking the weapn r secret bla bla bla because it gives you all new piping and stands to reason that it might actually work. I am doing all this now in preparation for the timing belt/cam change/upgrade I am planning on doin in the spring time. any feed back for any of the style intake would be well accepted!!! ps here is the web site with the cheapest weapon R bla bla bla

Yikes....found the box, clip and screws.....I am now just afraid to see the last owners scalp (hair) in there!!! :oops: That dude must have been one nasty creature...there were ashes in the gauge cluster behind the clear plastic under the reset button for the odometer.......let alone all the wonderful un-identifiable candy that was just under the back seats and gobs of dog hair under the front ---- ----did I mention that this was after a dealership in Staton Island New York detailed the truck for auction???

I can't remember what the make up of the bushings were but when I suggested DIY the shop smiled and asid you can try. I don't think this is a DIY....I had new bushings put into my old arms also....in fact I had the pan hard, upper, and lower arms on both sides dons...10bushings in all and new front end links at the same time for $600 I think
