There's probably a thread on the Bob Is The Oil Guy forum going into detail about why/whether the high-mileage is better, if you're curious. I'm running a Valvoline high-mileage blend in mine because it was cheap and I figured why not. I don't expect it to fix my oil leaks, make me more attractive to women, or bring peace to the middle east, but the oil did seem a bit cleaner than usual the last time I changed it, so maybe the synthetic part is doing some good.

so i was curious and decided to call nissan give them my vin number and ask if i had the lsd or not because i was pretty sure it acts like one on gravel and dirt but we have seen my rust covered pumkin has no sticker, it turns out i do have one!! just nice to know for sure

If it's just a low-voltage code, I'd just clear it and see if it comes back. The ECU might've just gotten pissed off when you replaced the battery.

I can't speak to your 3.3 but I do know most high mileage oil is basically the same as the normal oil, but with some seal additives and maybe more friction reducers. With that being said there is nothing wrong with moving up to the highmileage especially considering you got 200k.

That is the crankshaft position sensor. It shouldn’t have anything to do with the code your describing. Having low battery voltage can throw all kinds of strange codes so that really could have been the issue.

I bought a kit like this off eBay the other month for $85, and they've worked great. Used them on long OME HDs for an FJ80 project, and just the other day on R50 OME MDs. I've used those rental ones on OME HDs in the past, but it's a pain. These were fairly effortless.

The R50 got a facelift in between those years that changed the shape of the headlights, so I doubt they'd bolt up without changing a bunch of other parts as well.
