Bumper Color(s)?

I know this is pretty stupid topic, but I've had my Pathy for almost two years and I just noticed that the front bumper is grey and the rear is black. I mean I saw them frequently and noted their respective colors but it just recently occured to me that that they didn't match. Whats up with that? So if you are game go outside and have a looksie and tell me what you see. I'm just curious as to what was the OEM color.

I think both mine are black, but I haven't had a real good look at it actually. I have a 95 XE too though, so its possible I just haven't noticed and mine's the same as yours.

I have a 95XE and both are supposed to be black, but the front one has been polished so many times the paint is about wore off.

Mine are sprayed with bed liner. Maybe the grey one is discolored from the sun

yeah. my bumpers are discolored... nothin a bit of pimp shine and a smittybuilt couldn't fix tho sly or a can of black paint.

I think the originals were a really dark grey, almost black, to match the grill and plastic on the rear bumper.

IIRC, OEM bumpers are either black or chrome. If it's grey, I think someone painted it or it's faded.

the only one I have on mine was supposed to be black bedliner, but theres dents and lots of mud

 

our 95 had both black ones.

on my 95, the front is discolored to faded black (or grey). i dont have bumpers on my 97
