Flysilly
Hello - pretty sure my fuel pressure regulator is bad. But I can't find it! Where is it located? Thanks in advance.
Slartibartfast
Reach around the back of the upper intake manifold and you'll find a vacuum line leading down to the fuel pressure regulator.

SpecialWarr
Bring a mirror because you can't see it from anywhere except by removing the upper intake plenum!
Fast_eddy
Far back right corner of the fuel rail. If you take the intake plenum off, take a pic for me! Trying to make sure I have these injectors connected in the right order right now on the drivers side...

gustycrosswinds
is it possible to remove the regulator without taking off the intake manifold?

adamzan
Easier to just remove the plenum. It isn't that hard and your hands will thank you.
gustycrosswinds
has anyone verified if the fuel regulators on the 3.0 are different psi than the 3.3? i am looking up some parts on rockauto and they say the regulator is good from 1990-2000 for the pathfinder, which would cover both engines? adamzan
I'm pretty sure they are the same for the VG30 and 33. You can also check nissan part numbers at courtesyparts.com.
Frenchy
Can't say if they will fit one another but I can say the pressure should be fine
