Fantastic Contraption

Here's one someone posted on CNTC, and a few of us have been playing for a few days.

Build contraptions to get your item to the goal. Pretty addictive.

When you've finished a level you can go back and see what other people have created to get to the goal. Most of mine have been hideously ugly, but functional.

I'm currently at level 20/21.

Oh, when I compare my contraptions to other people's, theyre damn ugly. They use half, or even less the amount of "tools" to get the job done.

I figured some of the engineer types here would like this game.

JUST finished the second last one. Wow@the time I wasted. lol

If they're available u may as well use them...i've had some butt simple ones and some complicated crawlers...too much work to do though...not enough to play...I'm only on 11 and i think thats where i'll be till i get home tonight

my favorite so far...

yeh n4w was all over that for a while, me and some freinds made a game called "contraption golf" most of them with a par 3 or 4(parts uesd in additon to the pink one) many were accomlished by only using 1 wellplaced stick wheel. try it, see how few you can get!

Ugly as hell, but it works. This one took me the longest. I have a tendancy to over complicate things.

Don't show that to my Eng prof... he would be disappointed biggrin.gif I am an engineering student taking Statics biggrin.gif currently we are learning about trusses and pulleys.

Ehh..as a professional...my designs for this thing take no thought...i just build some crap run it and adapt it to work through trial and error unlike the real design process...I think this would be a good "evaluation" for companies to see how creative their engineering candiate is
