StatutoryApe
well, idk what my dad did, exactly, but he got it runnin yesterday. I wasn't home all day yesterday, but he worked on it almost all day. Today while i was at church then work, he got all the interior installed, except for the interior panels that cover the rear speakers. i gotta put new speakers in first All that's left to do now is swap out the power locks in windows in one of the doors (my dad did the other one today) and install the doors and it'll be done! but then i'll need a new windshield, but i can put that off for a while. StatutoryApe
yeah, once i put the doors back on. idk when that'll be cuz i still have no time to work on it (gotta leave for work in 5 minutes) so it all depends on when my dad finishes swapping the electronics in the other door. then i'll drive her and take some pix. adamzan
Ahhh, this reminds me when I brought my truck to my grandfathers to do my timing belt. I accidentally left the FSM pages there, and by the time I got back from the store with the puller, he already had the rad drained and unhooked, the fan/clutch and a bunch of other stuff I don't remember. mws
Yeah, they are. I miss mine. A lot. Sounds funny, but I swear I can still feel him next to me everytime I dive into a project, you know? He left a LOT of himself in me. He is the one who taught me to at least TRY it myself. And to be patient with myself as learning takes time. And to forgive myself when I have "valuable learning experiences". I used to call them mistakes, but not anymore. And to research as much as I can before I start. I try to pass on those teachings to all those I can.

And to research as much as I can before I start. I try to pass on those teachings to all those I can. Wise words. I am lucky, I still get to work with my dad, and we teach each other things as we go along. He still has his secrets, and I learn from him all the time, but the most "rewarding" part of it all is being looked at as an equal. I am very proud of the fact that my dad, the guy who knows everything (or at least enough to figure out most projects) asks my opinion on how to go about something. StatutoryApe
ahem... http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b95/ch620/P9270134.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b95/ch620/P9270135.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b95/ch620/P9270136.jpg i'm ready to roll! i can't wait to drive her to school and work now!!! the passenger side fender was my original one. my dad just beat it out w/ a rubber mallet and pressed it out a lil bit. idc too much about it. also, that missing turn signal is now on the bumper. it just doesn't work and i got a new windshield today. 138 bux installed in like half an hour! also, i put new Infinity speakers in the rear 100W rms. so i guess you could say she's better than before! a special thanks goes out to MWS for the FREE Pathy, Unccpathfinder for the advice on the wiring, and everyone at NPORA! From the picture, may I suggest a front end alignment? Nicely done. While I didn't help, I can say we have some really cool people at this site... From the picture, may I suggest a front end alignment? Nicely done. While I didn't help, I can say we have some really cool people at this site... B Thanks, guys! I just have a regular 3+3. AC UCA's, which i don't like. they don't really make alignment easy and the squeak i think when Firestone went to align it, they jacked it up a lil too much, which is coo with me. no cv binding problems so far. i think the front is actually higher than the rear, but that's just me judging it just by looking at it. i have JGC coils in the rear. i've seen, what i think to be, higher lifts out of other pathies that also use JGC coils. the top of my tires (33s) are about level with the top of the frame. plus, i don't have the fender flares on the new body yet and most of my comparison pix are w/ the 31s on the PF. And yeah, it kinda looks like i've got the porn star stance going on in the front. i'm gonna take it in to get it aligned on monday. hopefully they do it right this time!!!
