I was considering Zimmerman.... But i've had problems in the past putting German parts on a Japanese car.... so I went with Japanese Ended up getting "mountain" brand rotors, made in Japan, from www.importrp.com for about $40 each if I remember.... they also sell zimmermann, you just need to call them One I would consider is Brembo blanks, but they are $80 each. The mountains are holding up just fine, for me.

I'm back to this question - When it's hot outside (90+), and I leave my pathfinder idling with the AC on, is it normal for the engine to start overheating after maybe 15 minutes of idling? It goes back down once I get some speed/airflow. By overheating, i mean the temp needle goes to about 75% It does not overheat idling with the AC off. With the AC on, the condensor is hot enough to burn your hand if you hold it for longer than 5 seconds

There is a place here in San Diego called Tint Devil, they want $400 to tint an entire Pathfinder with their best product, but it's worth it - they do the best tint work i've ever seen, and trust me, i've seen a lot of tint. http://www.tintdevil.com/

Body shop people fix auto bodies - they don't tint windows. They simply don't replace enough windows to justify having a full time Whenever a tinted window needs to be replaced, most likely they call a mobile guy to come and tint it. (There are a lot of mobile tint installers - some of them are great) Putting "plastic on glass" may sound easy but believe me, it takes a lot of experience, a steady set of hands, and patience to do it right. I paid $240 to get all 9 windows tinted on my QX4 - it is a professional job with a lifetime warranty. Those cuts are not easy to do. Also - it needs to be a very clean environment - a single piece of dust or a single hair under the tint will create a hideous bubble in the tint. My QX4 took four hours to do, and the guy still had to redo two windows after I noticed pieces of dust. So that's 6 hours total - by a professional. How long would it take you to do a similar job? A few years of experience and several hours for the tint job. WIthout the experience - you won't be able to achieve professional tint. It will look like tweeker tint - horrible cuts and bubbles. Go to a reputable shop, trust me.

Walmart tint will also turn purple and bubble up in a few years. Then it will be very hard to take off. Save yourself the pain now, get it done professionally and use a good brand like Solarguard, Lumaster, 3M. And watch out for the lowballers.

Octane has been proven to have no effect on gas mileage, unless pinging and pre-detonation is brought into the question. I always thought that higher octane, since it is more resistant to pre-detonation, would actually provide less gas mileage, but according to wikipedia, pre-detonation has nothing to do with regular combustion, thus octane has NO effect on gas mileage.

But with the right amount of $$, i'd say it's definitely possible. Whats all involved? Probably compressor, something about mineral oil, probably dryer reciever, who knows. I'm just guessing. It's also probably illegal in USA, and R12 prices are sky high and still rising. When it comes to the mighty dollar, it's probably not worth the cost and headache for the 10-15 degree difference.
