So have you ever seen this done on youtube.A bunch of idiots sucking the stuff into the oil and driving around at high rpm with there tail pipes blowing white smoke.I've dumped it in the tank before but I'd think twice before putting it in oil.It is good stuff but is it even oil based? Any one with any thoughts on this?

What your missing is that the engines used back then in the nissans in the baja and other races where mostly 351 winsor v-8s.Look it up you guys. But never mind that there still neat looking trucks.

If your not getting any king of fire then it could be the other wires on the dizzy(not plugs) I have a c-vic that had the same problem.But that was when it was cold out.It would crank and crank but never catch.The wires where bad and you could see then ark in the wires at night.But I dont think its cold anuff to do that to yours.

Thats a sh!ty weld...most kids in a metals class can do better then that the second week.There welds might not be sexy but at least there safe. I didnt read the whole tread but from the pixs it doenst look good.

if its still messed up after that its probly the plug wires.And to test a dizzy there a little tool...I forget what its called but theres a lttle bulb in it that lights up when you touch a wire that has power going in it.

In the winter the worst I ever got was 9 mile to the gallon.Average was 13-14 when it was -30 out with a warm up.As of so far this spring 17-18 average with one day I found out that I got 23 mpg going 50mph and none winter gas.two days ago I got 17.82 mpg and it needs a fill up to day so I'm hoping for more since I didnt go wheeling.

Sillicon the treads of the screws.When I got mine I had to replace one of them. Get the black RTV its the water proof kind so it doesnt wether as fast.

Fixed the leak.It was the termostat houseing.Just resiliconed it.Alls good now. Thanks to all that helped and those that clear up the Throttle body thing.

This is dumb then.I always thought a TBI was a Carb that was controled Electrnicly.I didnt know that true fuel injected (TPI engines)engines had TBI.I knew they had mass-air flow sensors but I thought the fuel was injected from injectors(I know it is)or a fuel rail...or on carbed and tbi unit jets.Also I dont know what I was thinking about the sillicon since I new they made High temp types.I didnt know if he put water proof sillicon on(diffrent colars,blue,red white clear black)

Restarting a oldie.Wheel I used to ride Four wheelers alot when I was a kid and then got my dads 89 150.Blown head gaskets and the trucks going no ware so we moved and got a 86 B2 but it had not clutch and all I ever did with it was fly around the feild we have.A 35 mpg donut and the truck wanst that good.flipped her back up on the tires before my dad got home(scrary stuff in a truck that driveer side door is held shut with a bungee cord and no seat belt since the rocker panel broke off) plus there was 2 pther people in it one on passger side and one on the little seat in the back.Got the 95 pathy in jan of 08 for a late x-mas present.Didnt off road her till the summer and then it was on a trail where the year before I was in a 94 S-10 jimmy that we bent the frame on climbing a fallen tree.The thing did great and it was in 2 wheel drive(no tree this time) so its been like that.Wheeled the same spot in winter and was pushing snow with my front bumper but didnt get stuck.Its pathys only(well maybe a hard bodie) from here on out other then my 89 150 which is getting fixed as a work truck...sometime.

Its Mutli port injected not throttle body.Also I put the pellots in and not the stuff that looks like sand and smells like crap.I looked at it yster day and it looks like its coming from the passger side of the engine where it was leaking before.Also it looks like the A-hhole who replaced the parts put Silicon on a ...I dont know what the hell it is but its up above the water pump on the left side and a hose goes to it.Its black silicon and I dont know if you can put silicon on a anti freeze line(it does have anti freeze going through it I know that much and the peice is only there so you can mount a hose) also the guy did not replace the thermostat even though he was told to.This guy also wanted to give me the truck with out the little SOB hose fixed.He went"I thought you wanted the water pump and t-belt replace only" He didnt see it(or says he didnt) but I'm not going to hold that agaisnt him.I just went to the wrong guy and he's done it before.Finesed a job half-assed.My buddy took he Grand Pre there for the same thing and its undriveable know because of a huge coolant leak. But what's done is done so no more b^&**ing out of me. But can you seal it with sillicon.I know you can do valve covers but doesnt anti freeze get hoter then the oil.I allways beleaved this.

Yeah Its not leakng there any more...I think thats the little Sob that was split and was puking all over my engine.But I did find out something from it.BAR's Rad Stop Leak does work.For a while until the hose splits completey.

Well I got a 1995 pathfinder XE v-6 Jan of 2008.Its been a great truck other then frame rust issues(fixed) and this.It leaks coolant from front of engine.I had he water pump,hoses(all of them...even that little SOB(main leak fixed)cam seals and T-belt replaced.But its leaking again.Its pissing me off that the damn thing leaks anti-freeze evan after putting $780 bucks in the front of the engine.So what could it be...head gasket,or I heard someplace thats theres a valve on the heads on the front end(fan side)If so...where,I dont see any valves. Thanks for any help.

Hell my 95 xe did that last week...the sob locked me inside of it so I couldnt get out.I driver side handle was froze up and I hit the lock button and I coulnt get out since the freaking locks went nuts.Up,down...for about 3 minutes until they finally stayed down.Well I put my window down and crawl out the other door.I see want happen so I push the handle down and bang the damn thing locks me out.But I had put the window down Cause I had a feeling it would do that.

Well this is it...think my old pathy is finaaly going to be to much of a money pit to fix. So new truck time... Its going to be a 90-95 with the 6 and auto. So its going to be upgraded only to a nice summer time wheeler only. List so far of what I want. MSD Ignition System. Glass Works front fenders...maybe hood to...or just hood(unsure yet. intake(probly Airraid UBI kit. header...maybe. 110 amp alty. winch on rear(I already have the mount) Duels... RoadRunner Apt tires(31s) Any other ideas would be help full...thanks

Ha I had my frame welded for $320.Fine a retird welder they do it for change on the dollar.A shop wanted $900+ for my frame.Over half the price of the truck.

Go with a glass pack...they have a nice deep sound and idle you get a little bit of batting noise like a 8

Try changing the tranny fluid and filter,mine did the same thing but stopped when I changed it.
