  2. Look on the fender tag(P side fender by the engine) if theres a 4.3 on it then it 4.30 and if there a 4.6 then its a 4.60
  3. I have a 1993 manuel(mines a 95 but It didnt come with one so I got one at the junk yard) It says 20 5/8 gallons or 15.1 for the small tank My lit has never come on but when I got it it was below E and I drove it for about 15 miles before filling up and it took 20 gallons even(well I shut it off at twenty)
  4. Heet is used in winter so your gas dosnt freeze up in the colder area(it will happen) Its not really a water remover its more of a gas anti freeze. Wal-mart sells a cool little thing that siphons gas by squeezing it.I have one that I used for my mud truck when gas was 4 bucks agallon(only people that I worked with and where a-holes...most of them I told when I was getting off that I was going to go get some gas from them...they said Oh,yeah,ok.So I wasnt stealing it.)
  5. Holy,Shiznit old post. But youve coverd 2 or 3 major possiblitys. The third is extreme rpms will cause a belt to lose its teeth(the shaved look)
  6. Mine did the same thing yester day.My dip stick popped out and shot 3+ quirts out.It was sluggest and would shift out of 2nd gear or rev good(above 4k)
  7. It could be that there just not anuff fluid in it,cloded filter, water in the fluid or it could be a converter, its pretty hard to tell with auto trannys but I've seen a car that acted like that with almost no fluid in it. Hope this helps.
  8. Leaving maggies farm...must because her brther handed you a nickle,a dime and asked you if your having a good time?

  9. Humph...thats what my passger side looks like...I've been meaning to replace it but its been at least 2 years like that(like that since I got the truck)I get a little bit of clicking out if it(started about a month ago)
  10. Its gotta be a 20 and a half gallon tank then if your putting 16.5 in it.They came in two sizes...15 and 20 5/8 gallons.
  11. Are the rpms going up and down?
  12. Both plugs that he said are sold at wal-mart...I stay away from wal-plugs...I run Ac-delco plugs and my truck runs good
  13. Alldatas kick ass,but its a pain in the ass at the same time...I dont like it how you have to start over if you put the wrong tranny in...I still havent figured it all out yet but it does help
  14. Mine arent stock...The second one is rotted(out side, not blown out yet) and the first one has a sensor in it.I;m confuzzd now...the pre cat is suppose to beclose to the engine right...and has no sensor?
  15. I love you to adamz

  16. hell,I go 55 and my average tank is 19-20 Do you guys use syn-oil or dyno bones?
  17. Mine was very slow to heat in the winter and I had the water pump replaced and it fixed it. And no the guy didnt replace the thermostate...that displeased me very much
  18. Its probly been asked already but whats your coolant mix...if its just water try mixing in a little Antifreeze,Antifreeze and water mixed is a better coolant then just water.
  19. For the guy that said he heared about a valve someplace, yes there is a valve on the driver side rear of the engine that you open to bleed off excess air in the cooling system.
  20. So I've gotta change my glass pack for the trip to gilbert and this is what I'm doing.(the pack is probly going back on after the trip) I have a Y-pipe,ya dig so far,but I have not one,but two cats on the outlet(where the y becomes a single pipe, cross over)Why does this truck have two cat? Can any one tell me? But heres the plan,I'm welding a 2-21/2 inch straight pipe about a foot and half long on to the cat(i dont know if i should take the second one off, theres no sensor on it and it is a cat,not a resanatur. After that I plan to muffler clamp a turbo style on it(spark arresting muffler)No tail pipe, just the muff...any one see any thing wrong with this plan?
  21. there nice trucks...if it's not junk and if you have the money should get it
  22. It does make a diffrence...In my area the BP will click off two gallons before a full tank...the Clark where I useally get gas is a full tank. The pumps are calibrated once a year in my area...also if you push the nozzle in two far it will nott feed properly, clicking off early... I have been doing it this way for years and it is the most efective way of proving gas milage
  23. Thank god somebody finally brought up the IFS lift issue...To much angle is a bad thing...
  24. I thought your front diff exploeded^^^^ My works good...but some times I gotta back for the light to turn off...or do a donut...or turn the wheels left'N'right. One time the 4 wheel decided to engage it self at about(one hub locked in)20 mph going do a steep hill...kept her on the road(about 2 inchs of glare ice) and got out gave the hub a kick(p-offed,scared that it mayhave broke it self...If I break stuff I'm ok about it...its my own fault...but when the truck does it of it own free will...gwrar..watch out man)Backed up/went a head and it up and disengaged...never happened again and the 4x still works...
  25. What size tire did you have stock? On a second note...If your not filling up at the same pump every time then you not getting a accurete reading since every pump shuts off at a diffrent level
