  1. looks like the cams and rockers were overheated. Have a warrenty?
  2. yea... I moved them from the livingroom to the garage. It's 9 degrees here with 17inches of snow on the ground. Not gonna work on the truck in these conditions.
  3. I've lost several of those damned things. Found that for some reason, the metal end becomes dislodged from the glass and they smoke. I rebent the clips so there wasn't as much pressure and I haven't burned out one yet. Maybe this will help.

glad to hear you and the family are OK.
  5. I've used stop signs. They are fairly common and readily available.
  6. no prob. If you decide you want a used one with less than 80k miles on it, I've got.
  7. as long as there are no burrs on it, you should be fine. The timing gears run about 40 or so each. Obviously, mine would be much cheaper and would be no more than 8.10 to ship (flat rate box - priority mail). Curious to see the pic. Check your current belt for indication of abnormal wear due to the score-mark. I'm guessing that you're fine.
  8. need a replacement? I still have mine in a box in the garage.
  9. nope. sorry. I'm east coast.

    cruise control

guess I'll have to do some troubleshootin once I care enough to go out in the wet and do so. Maybe in August.
  20. on my 71 pinto, I ground out the rust, smeared roofing tar on the exposed metal then cut to shape and pop-riveted aluminum siding over the holes. A little kerosene cleanup and it looked... well... interesting. No more rust though.
  21. I think she's just being difficult
  22. hey 88... what's that oversized needle-looking thing on the front of your truck? Is it a specific purpose item or just a persuader?
