  1. yuppers. pop a valve cover n check the rocker arms to see if any are loose.. or do you know fer sure it's underneath?
  2. *sniffles n wonders if Dave would miss the sand rail motor*?
  3. Yes. I agree with B. If you are running mainly mud n water.. snorkel is good insurance, move the ECU to the glove box (it is on floor under PS seat) and pop a lil 2 or 3" body lift on fer good measure.
  4. PICTURES!!! we want pictures!! I love a good body damage pic... just ask GG.. hehe
  5. FLA gets the cookie for the "good lookin out" prize
  6. just reinforces the thought I had that this dude is an IDIOT
  7. hehe.. I had just had the exhaust done a week b 4.. we were installing my JGC coils and Rancho 5000 shocks when I took the pic....(march 2005) -bounce-
  8. Here's how I had mine made.... I luuuuuuve it!
  9. Same thing happened to mine.. then.. while playing capatain save-a-hoe to a bug stuck behind the clear dash plastic.. I snapped the needle off with the pen I was poking the bug with... can we say DUH?
  10. Well.. I had a 4.3 Vortec in my '92 S-10.. and I would say the available room is similar... but a bit of firewall fab would be in order... and like 88 said.. AA have everything you'd need to mate up to the Chevy stuff. I sold my beloved S-10 with 210,000 miles on the motor, and she still ran like new. Good luck! love to see a Pathy with the 4.3... I juiced mine to 210hp. (came stock with 183hp)
  11. I hate doing wheel bearings....
  12. Had that sound and found out it was my new headers rattling in the y-pipe... one u-clip and problemo solved
  13. I agree with all above.. never sleep in a running vehicle. Roll the windows down or buy a little battery operated fan that squirts water on you or something.. you do not drive a semi. Trucks n cars are not meant to idle for long periods...it is not good for you or your motor. Have a safe trip whatever you decide!
  14. I change them every 4th or 5th oil change (I have always been funny about changing plugs early), and I change my oil every 3,000 miles
  15. POR 15...... Gods gift to the Pathy frame world.... POR 15. We have a gallon of it just waiting to do my Pathy, the Thunderbox, and I already painted my Chebby 4x4 frame on my project mudder.
  16. I did the JGCC's and cranked the t-bars. I left a 1" gap between teh bump stops for the t-bars.. and I got almost 4" of lift from the JGC's! When I can afford it.. I will be beefing up the front end "properly"
  17. If you have a 95 or newer Pathy.. there are 2 cats which both need to stay on your truck. ..the EGR valve is the long brassy lookin tubey thingy on the drivers side of the motor that screws into the intake plentum (well...the little sensor box thing that's attached to the plentum!) and goes down into your headers... I run Thorley headers and single high flow cat in my 92 which has to be smogged here in Cali. :contract:
  18. mmmmmmmm...Momma likes... both styles.. but the Yotas ones a bit more.... *dreams* & *Drools*
  19. *sniffles* all these love stories make me wanna go outside n hug my Pathy *sniffles some more*
  20. I voted for mine.. cuz like Pezzy... I am biased and like the "old school" looks of trucks
  21. Feebay HAS to catch on sooner or later....don't they? :contract:
  22. I drive a Pathy but I am still an uncool mental patient..hehe.. and you'll lOVE the MM hubs.. I installed some a few months ago! :cool2: And now...... back to the subject... Oh! and B.. I am glad you can understand V6... cuz I am totaly lost with his posts..most of the time...lol
  23. Great guys! keep 'em comin.. it's very interesting to see how everyone came upon their Pathys... V6.. if you don't have anything to say in relation to this post... please don't post at all :contract: (I do enough of that for everyone! lol)
