  1. The dually runs.. but has a rod knocking (hence how we got it fer $200).. so we are not about to drive it until the motor gets rebuilt. The burbs are in the process of having lift kits and motor rebuilds on them.. and the 454 comin out of the Thudnerbox is going into the Camaro (74).... we are on "motor rotation & Rebuilds" at the moment..hehe

  7. mm.. I gathered that.. but they work really well.. and I asked for the coils that you stated in your JGC coil thread..but I asked fer 94-97 coils.. that's what they gave me.. hehehe.. must be a "California thang"..
  8. I had 235/75/15's when I first got my Pathy.. then put on 255/70/15's... now I have 31x10.5x15's.... *wipes sweat off brow*
  9. and for anyone looking to do the JGC coil install... for some lucky reason.. I got some wicked cool JGC coils.. that gave me more lift than seems anyone else gained ..... and so far I am the only one who got this style of coil..
  10. If your tranny (have not had the displeasure of having to tear mine apart yet) is anything like a Chevy manual tranny.. there are a couple specialty tools you would need to do the job that most folks don't have in their tool boxes (like us..and we have most everything!)... If you are confidentin your abilities... give it a try! But.. there's one condition to that.. you have to do a full write up with pictures for retards like me who will have to do the job one day...hehehe.. j/k.. the write up is optional...
  11. oh gawd. NM... Dave would be down to visit.. he is all into the spaceship stuff....
  12. As the seals are leaking again maybe this would be the time to check the axles thoroughly and make sure, as you said, they are not scored or even "warped".....ya never know!
  13. COOL! no mroe taps..excellent news! I'll drink to that!
  14. :contract: -study- actually.. I think MILWAULKIE sounds good right now.... nah. We have always been looking between Oakland and Salem. We really like Clatskanie.. BFE... cheap houses with land kinda thang.... no neighbors...doesn't snow much... *sighs n dreams that everything works itsself out before the end of the year*
  15. -bounce- YAAAAAAAAAY!! I got it right! I'm so clever! *gloats for a quick moment*.. as Dave read this he said you should check/look at the push rods to make sure they're not excessively worn.
  16. -bounce- YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! -bounce- if you take the job in Portland.. then you won't be deserting me!! We can all go wheelin together! whooohoooo!! *as Bernard shakes his head thinking "oh God.. I gotta live near HER?"* -bounce-
  17. You should turn your stereo off while wheeling anyway.. in case someone tries to yell a warning to you or your motor malfunctions.. you can hear what's going on...
  18. If the Pathy had been sitting for a long time.. the gas in teh tank could have gone bad... therefor plugging the fuel filter or pump... I know a 4.3 S-10 is only slightly similar to a Pathy.. but as my fuel pump was going out.. my S-10 was much harder to start when she was hot than when cold.
  19. You mean speedos are supposed to work? hmmm.. I must look into that... Well I don't have the best track record with my local law enforcement professionals. So a correct speedo for me is handy. Been to see this guy a couple of times! hehehe... oh yes... I have had not-such-great-luck either... in fact... there should be a warrant out for me right about now.... (nothing major) well.... I can tell you how fast yer going at what rpms and gear if that helps? lol :contract:
  20. Bravo! well said sir.
  21. Well.. I wouldn't say "good idea".. I would have LOVED to keep the Jeep also.. but I desperately needed the $$$ so something had to go, and keeping the Pathy was the sensible choice... i do still have moments where I really miss my Jeep. She took a lickin n kept on tickin. Always got me home after a hard day in the mud. *sniffles and looks out the front door at her beloved Pathy*
  22. I know a few tall turds *rolls her eyes*
  23. *raises hand* ME ME ME!!! *squirms in seat* I'll drive it I'll drive it!! -bounce-
