oh. that sux v6.... but I agree with what B said about open windows.. per say the rear window is classed as part of the tailgate is it not? and per say it does not open like a regular window....??? correct me if I'm wrong? Also..it looked like your pipe came out under the rear bumper..I have seen a Pathy get up a steep slope and lay teh bumper down on their pipe..same set up as yours. :gossip:

I have a set of factory hubs that work perfect if you pay shipping...they're yours! (help ya out til you get the $$ together to get some manual locking hubs)

or.. a little trick we use is plugging the fuel line with a bolt...works really well for me

as above and yeah... sounds like they fried your t-case..... what I wouldn't give to get my hands on all car/truck theives.....

I have the JGC coil lift, with 31's on Chevy 6 lug rims with 3.5" of BS..I think my other set have 4" of BS. 4" is really the highest you want to go, as yes, the bigger the BS number, the further they stick out. There are laws about how far your tires/rims can stick out..not that I have ever heard of anyone getting a ticket for it.... good luck!

The only thing the back up battery will be used for is specifically to charge our cam corder batteries via the cigarette lighter which has an adapter, while we are on the beach, as there is no other alternative power source. there will be nothing else running off that particular battery at any time except when we are using the charger (maybe once or twice during the course of the whole week). Question 1: will having a constant charge, and no discharge on the back up battery cause any problems, to either battery? Will it overload the battery and make it burn up? There has been a gazillion write ups about the exhaust and headers on NPORA forums... with prices, part numbers, sizes, fit, pics, install tips, etc... search... it's worth it!

I know my FWD Nissan Bluebird was great in the snow! But I would definitely take my Pathy over any of our other vehicles in the snow. If you have no problem with banging up the tempo, and you want to keep the undercarriage of the Pathy clean.. then use the Tempo.

:help: OK. So, umm.... we are trying to hook up dual batteries in Daves '73 Chevy, (454) so we can run our AC/DC converter thingie to charge the cam corder batteries while we are in Pismo. We run the new battery for the main, but how can we hook up to the auxillary battery when we want to charge things? Dave ran the cigarette lighter direct to the back up battery, then ran a wire to the alternator and another to a little battery isolator box thingie (we BOTH forgot the name..long day, hot weather, you understand?) that he bolted to the fender well near the back up battery. ok. The way it is set up now, the alternator is constantly charging both batteries, (they are however seperate from each other)which we really don't need, and it can't be safe charging both at the same time? They are charging at 14.5amps on both batteries according to our amp meter inside the truck. Need: is it safe like that, is there a way to disconnect the new battery so it too does not lose charge while charging CC batteries or phones, or is there some better way to hook them up, and if so, how the hell do we do it? I am in nooooooo way electrically inclined, and Dave can't figure out any other way to do it. HELP!!! I call on ye Pathy loving brothers and sisters to help us! We leave in 5 days! -study- :gossip: I can easily supply pics if needed.

I heard the hell outta that! Wait til we have to fill up the Thunderbox (2x22gal tanks) up and then 20 gallons of 110 octane race fuel (@ $5 a gal) for the sand rail.... we'll be sober and starving for the week.. but have plenty of fun drivin the rail!
