i will search for the post i made about this earlier this year... i listed all the speeds in each 4wd gear... now.. lemme go see.... *grabs magnifying glass* -study- *ahem* -study- (went n got my book cuz couldn't find the post) 2H to 4H : any speed BELOW 25mph 4H to 2H: Any speed 4H OR 4L to 4L OR 4H: STOP and do it 2H to 4L: STOP and do it 4L to 2H: STOP and do it does that help at all? :contract:

the pacesetters just seem to need some coaxing upon install on autos for some reason, but they seem ok on manuals from what i've read. Mr Jim has the pacesetters and likes them, i have thorleys.. but that's personal pref and price you can afford... glad you got her back!!! -bounce-

allll righty then..... stock manifolds: studs will keep breaking. costing more $$$ over time.. not including hassle... ack! crapper #1. headers vs manifolds: headers win for more power and alieviating stud issue, and headers look soooooo much purtier! FYI: this is just MOO

*thanks god every day she went with the Thorleys* hope things improve for you! I have heard a lot about the bad fitment of pacesetters.. nothing a BFH can't handle! My exhaust total cost was $338 for thorleys (installed myself) $200 for cat back 2.5" pipe with flowmaster 50 series muffler (see pic) i had him weld the tailpie to the hanger instead of hang it as they tend to rattle over time and that drives me crazy then i went back and had the high flow cat and some more 2.5" pipe installed for $100 I love it! good luck! and enjoy once you finally get all said n done -bounce-

as all the above mentions. For the sagging: for less than $150 and a couple hours, get the JGC coils and some Rancho 5000 shocks (coil p/n PA8360513 (FCS782V) and shock P/N PO6005995 (RS5116) the first p/n is Kragen/Schuckers number, the second in parentases is the original p/n.... As for the shocking... I am with B.. here in Cali in summer I get azpped pretyt often with wearing polyester type basketball shorts and having cheapie seat covers.. sucks don't it? The clutch.. again, I put a new clutch (which included the t/o bearing) in my Pathy which works great for $178 again, from Kragen p/n PA6128656 (MU476951) and that included the t/o bearing.... couldn't help ya with the rear tire carrier sensor.. I don't have one on my 92... oh yeah!! definitely have your flywheel resurfaced.. I paid $35 for mine and it made the world of difference as my slave cylinder had managed to spew oil all up in my bell housing and all over ym clutch, so my old clutch got hot and so my flywheel was not so purty.. lot cheaper than a new flywheel and works like a charm I guess that's it.... good luck!! -study- oh.. and someone backed into my rear bumper a week ago too.. bastids! :furious: don't let anymore drunks in or near your pathy.. they sound destructive!

never had mine tweaked n tuned... but then again i only used it within fairly close range of my fellow wheelers.. and sometimes for some late night gossiping with friends.... so really.. guess i never had the need...

what would make it really "rare".. is if you customize your already "rare" pathy... then it would go from rare.. to rarer (I know that's not a word).... Nissan USA should be able to tell you.. or direct you to a man who can... if nissan don't know... nobody knows... p.s.- that is a rather purty pathy... add some mud....mmmm...yes....

ok. UPDATE: Ran the codes today.. 55's across the board. No help there. Checked all plugs/hoses/wires again.. still nothing amiss. Going to do a compression test once I get Dave over here with his tester.... and maybe a little reading up on how to do that fuel pressure test..... other than that... I am still stumped!

I read somewhere, and no, i refuse to look right now, that 88 said anything wider than a stock 31x10.5x15 tire.. the rim should be upgraded to a 15x8??? I think it was 88 who said that.... anyhoo.. i run 31x10.5x15 on 15x8 rims.... looks good IMOO..... please do chime in if I stand to be corrected

he said fail and yeah.. as above.. sounds like it's time. Just make sure you pull straight up and not wiggle the plug wire or oyu may break something..

the time where rubber bungee straps come in handy. For wheeling I have to lay the backseat down... put my box for my 2x12's up by the back of the front seats.. lay the spare down and put a strap over them for immobility.... I am not excited about the thought of 2x12's smacking me in the back of the head bouncing through the mud or something...

looks like my level of welding ( I burn through floors too).. got the job done and sounds like just in time! Maybe your feet and legs will stay warmer now? Good job

:o Those are awful stories... theives should have their hands cut off. I have had 3 cars broken into, not including my Jeep on a daily basis, but never my Pathy. I have blacked out windows and my sub box is black and hid all the way in the back. I have a stereo face that flips over when off to give the impression there's nothing there, and I never keep anything (as above) in sight I don't want to lose. I have an alarm which cost me $200 to have installed, and my Pathy is pretty ugly. I am fortunate where I live (8 acres in BFE with plenty of eyes n ears) and I work at a big store that has security driving around all night, and they pay special attention to our vehicles. Don't blame the misfortunes on your pathy, blame it on society.

I did my MAF sensor without braking anyting.. and I was a Jack n Coke into the job. Like 88 said.. just don't CRAM a q-tip into the wires and you'll be fine. pretend you're cleaning the inside of your headlight bulb.. ya know..w here it has the thin wires.... the MAF is made a little bit sturdier.. but just use caution and you'll be fine.. hey.. it took me a month to buck up the courage to "just do it".. and all was fine

mine does have the little check engine thing on the dash.. though i have never in 2 years seen it so much as flicker on....
