  1. I'm with ya there! Found ONE 2 door Pathy inna j/y and it had been picked clean like pirannahs had got to it.... never to see one again :sniff:
  2. YAY! he finally gets it that youre pi$$ed! bout time! :contract:
  3. no. I am saying if someone was making fun of me and called me stupid out on a trail for driving what I do, and then got stuck and asked for help...I would be like "WTF dude...didn't you call me a retard and stupid a while back?"... I do not have the mentality of a LOT of Jeepers.. and it is a shame there are folks out there who do. I love my Pathy, I loved my Jeep.. I love our Chevys.... if it has 4wd, looks big, ugly and mean.. chances are, I'll like it! *giggles* it's kinda funny, when I would wheel the Jeep, then go and get the Pathy (same day) I suddenly got treated a lot different by the same people who thought I was so great while in my Jeep...can people really be that shallow? yes, they can. sad but true. maybe that was one of my deciding factors also to keep the Pathy and sell the Jeep? Just so when my Pathy is done I can go back to the people I used to wheel with and show them a thing or 2? I hate to be 'smacked down" for what I drive, and I am a great believer in "you drive what you want, I'll drive what I want". Maybe, if us Pathy drivers show the Jeep drives what WE can do.. their mentality will change.. just keep smiling even when you'd rather sock them in the jaw... don't worry FLA... I would still stop and help you out.
  4. It all just ads "spice" to things...hehe... *sneezes from too much pepper*
  5. And after one of my stupid moments when I plowed into really deep water she could easily have gone through at a slower speed.. but I caused a title wave and drowned her... BTW... after drying everything out.. we got her jump started and I drove her all the way home.. the GMC I was with wasn't so lucky.. and the 2003 Tacoma I was also with fried his alternator too. After installing a new alternator, draining my oil (no water anywhere!) my Jeep was good to go. Here she is drying out.
  6. OK. Although I took a little offense at some of the "idiots own Jeeps" kind of comments.. I assume that I am also a stupid idiot for owning a Jeep? well.. you are entitled to your opinion wholeheartedly.. just don't expect me to help pull you out when you are stuck.. or broke down on teh side of the road.. I can take insults pretty well.. but my gawd! I sold (actually.. I swapped) my '92 S-10 (it was immaculate and ran like new) with 210,000 miles on it for my '90 Jeep Wrangler Islander from an ex bf and good buddy of mine. i loved the Jeep from the day he bougth it and had always wanted one of my own. My reasons? 1) can fit in a matchbox 2) easily modified in any which way you want to go 3) good gas mileage 4) love driving around topless 5) very fun to wheel. I beat the snot out of that 4.2 motor, was running 33's with a 6" suspension lift. yes.. in a head wind you are screwed (not gunna brag about the Pathy with the a/c on either!), they are no fun on long trips, which is why I had it as a SECOND vehicle to my Pathy.. I bought the Pathy a year after the Jeep. It had been my primary, but with the attraction to theives, she was used primarily for cruisin town, short trips, and 4 wheeling. I loved my Jeep and have never regretted owning it, although last ear when it came crunch time, she got sold and I kept the Pathy, only because of the cost of insurance, nowhere safe to keep her, and the Pathy could carry more people in comfort. (I had taken teh abck seat out of my Jeep). I do miss the Jeep sometimes.. but am glad I kept the Pathy. I would love to have a CJ5 or 7 someday for wheelin, but for now the Pathy is the work horse and wheelin vehicle. I was never your "average" Jeeper... I didn't care what you drove..as long as you enjoyed it, that's your puraggotive (sp). I never acted like my Jeep was better than anyones, and do not have that "my siht don't stink" attitude. Jeeps are fun, I had 100,000 miles on it when I sold her last summer, and it was very reliable (unless I drowned it or did something stupid).. the only thing I ever had to change was the ignition module, which took me all of 15 minutes, and $83. I reast my case as to why I was one of the stupid people who owned a Jeep. Here's a pic of her... -bounce-
  7. MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD.. whuahhhhhhh there hasn't been any mud here since January! *sniffles* I hate California! Nice pics Vsicks!
  8. I'll take 3..... back ups..ya know....
  9. Post 95 just meant that your Pathy is a 95 or newer. They started putting 2 cats on the 95's..... gawd only knows why...
  10. Word. that's way nicer than what i was gonna post. second that word
  11. Ouch! These are just low blows 'cause you know I can't get out for a while. Give me another 3 to 6 months and I should be back into it. Lets see some pics from you Slick. I don't have a job right now, which means no $$$ which means no wheeling for me..which means I am jealous of everyone else who does go wheeling..which means I am relegated to just workin on the Pathy and parking her in odd places like this 9see below) Pismo.. bf has been going every labor Day for years... last year was my first Labor Day.. hated it til the people left..then I had some FUN FUN FUN! (I can't go fast with 60,000 peeps around).... I will have LOTS of pics from Pismo (hell..we had 8 horus of video and 4 floppy disks with 30-37 pics per disk) I am not meaning to rub stuff in yer face vsicks.... I wanna go wheelin just as bad as the next chick (and man)
  12. I like ^^^^^^ that one without the tire...... I just need one for the back window of my Pathy.. I already have all the other windows covered.. keep up the good work DJD!
  13. Bravo 88.. bravo..
  14. You want my tire carrier Derogate? I took it off back in Feb..... tryin to sell it....
  15. As for crash ratings... yeah.. Pathys don't rate real high.. but there again.. Pathy drivers tend to be a bit more careful than our full size truck drivin counterparts.... please... don't anticipate a crash... that's bad.. but your Pathy sure wouldn't crumble like some other SUV's I have seen after a seemingly low speed..low impact crash. Good insurance is key *winks*.... As far as I know there is only one model of tranny from 90-95 I believe? Correct me if I am wrong anyone? The brush guard.. will help a little.. but not really prevent anything from NOT folding or breaking.....probably cause more damage to the vehicle you hit with it.... Just goes to show the mentality of some people... like Greg said.. making up for other things... I make up for my "femaleness" by parking on handicapped ramps in front of my house..... and posting in the middle of the night drunk.. but I hope I don't offend anyone with it...?
  16. You must have a POST 95 Pathy then?
  17. We just installed some 2" 4 point racing harnesses in the sand rail (can post pics tomorrow)... bolted them to the frame behind the seat instead of the bar (I have been off road racing for many years and that was my favorite spot) and tucked the shoulder straps under the head rest casing as bf didn't want to spend buko bucks on seats with harness holes... work great though.. now to install the reachable kill switch b 4 Pismo in 6 weeks......
  18. be wary of backspacers.... know a few to "fail"...... but that was onna full size Chevy 4 wheelin in mud....
  19. I just like looking at the pics I am not producing.... I REALLY REAAAAAAALLY need to go wheelin.. gawd I wish SOMEONE would hire me..... and I keep looking back at those pics.. getting more jealous by the minute...what fun.. just to get the fawk outta town fer a day or two.... 6 weeks to Pismo... 6 weeks to Pismo..... gunna take the Pathy....
  20. I don't have a part number.. could get you one. Had local shop do it. Lovin it! I have the Thorleys also. Good rumble. Doesn't really matter as long as you make sure it's a HIGH FLOW cat.. I can take a pic of mine if you want?
  21. Congrats on your purchase! I also have the 5 spd tranny.. 132,000 miles n smooth as a kitten so far. If you can do work on trnnys.. more power to ya... if not.. have it rebult by a reputable garage... good luck!
  22. Good investigating.. now if we could only warn ALL Pathy buyers of this idiot...
  23. OMG. That HAS to be the WORST frame rot I have EVER seen onna Pathy! WOW!..... like Greg said.. good parts pig..
  24. Slick
