check to make sure all you bolts are tight and nothing has worked loose...a bolt about to fall out makes the same noise..hehe..had that happen to me..but not on my Pathy..I am more anal about checking things out now....just a thought

I have Chevy 6 lug rims on mine. you just have to make sure the "hole" in the middle fits over your locking hubs. If, say, you're running a 31/10.5x15 tire...get 15x8 rims...if your tire is too wide for the rim..you run the risk of popping a bead off road (been there,done that!).. my rims have odd backspace... front are 3.5" and back are 4". the 3.5 is nice, the 4 is good if you like your "stuff" to stick out a bit more.. I just happened to pay $40 for all 4 rims..and it doesn't seem to affect my Pathy at all....

For my update. Just changed the fuel filter...tomorrow having exhaust finished (high flow cat and 2.5" pipe finished from y pipe to cat) and put my 31's on. I average about 13-15 in town and 15-19 freeway. Better than the 8mpg town and 14-16 freeway I WAS getting ebfore I pulled the motor.... I already have a K & N filter....helps.

The only real use for the switch (I also have one on my manual tranny..and I use it) is to stop a theif getting away with your Pathy any quicker.....some theives are clueless and will think it's pooped....instead of depressing the clutch while trying to hot wire your ride.... he!!..I've had friends who thought they were gunna drive me home after a night of drinkin who couldn'ty figure out how to make my Pathy go! LOL. Just my thoughts...

I agree Bernard! I would rather take an unexpected, infrequent quake to a constant fear of tornadoes and having to hide out in my basement for long periods...hoping I can walk upstairs after a nado and still find my house standing, and neighbors alive.... natural disasters are icky.

WOW! That's a wide a$$ tire! I had 255/70/15's on mine (equivalent to a 29" tire) and dem suckerz were wide..... GO 4 IT! U can do eeeeet!

No smog on diesels as of yet.. but Arnie's workin on it!
