  1. Thank Gods you weren't doing anything complicated, like changing a tire or filling the radiator... Glad you found the problem. You are almost done. Take a break and then wrap it up... B
  2. I think this is where a lot of people get stuck. This isn't about driving 1000 miles on 1 gallon of gas and 20 gallons of water, it is about improving the efficiency of the combustion by a percentage by adding a little bit of HHO . B
  3. Um, whoopsie?? I think I'd avoid that hole... Pretty much the waterline you see outside of the truck. Or did you want that in gallons?? B
  4. Sorry Bud, I remembered wrong, it was you, not packie88... Yeah, that was the exploding canister... B
  5. Fair enough. I'd never expect you to disregard your experience or knowledge, merely suspend disbelief. I seem to remember reading a research study about this, but I can not remember who directed or authored it. If it is not linked in the other thread (link provided by Pezzy), I'll see if I can find it. B
  6. I'm pretty sure it was Packie88 who set this up also, check for the thread... The Browns gas is simply meant as an efficiency assist, not run the car off of. Try to be open minded until you get all the details. B
  7. Also, a C clamp and a piece of wood or metal can be used to compress the piston back into the caliper. Make sure not to overflow your MC though!! B

    TAILGATE!

The handle doesn't disengage the catch? It does but the damaged liftgate still won't open? Pull the inside pannel and make sure the linkage is working and try actuating it from there... B
  9. If the new MC works as it should and there are no leaks (lines, rear WS, front calipers, etc) then there must be air in the system. I can't think of anything else right now... B
  10. Just for kicks, did you run the ECU codes? Fuel pressure regulator failing perhaps? B

    NPORA

    Obscure, but pleasant... B
  12. Sorry Bud, but I have no R50 to work off of to figure it out... As for doing it yourself, hell yeah!! It really isn't hard other than the measurements, lining everything up, bending it evenly and getting the mounting right. What I mean, is that working the material is easy so once you know what you need to make. That was my first try... I thought I described the process better, but maybe that is only in my head or another thread. I'll find it or post in more detail.... Feel free to ask any Q's but be sure to measure your results well and post them for others. I'm sure you have CAD... I'll do the same, like the bumper thread. Thanks for the compliments... B
  13. Is it at the same RPM? Is there any loss of power or change in performance at all? My manual 95xe has a whistle noise from the intake at certain rpms, my auto 95xe doesn't. Only difference is a cat back system on the manual... B
  14. Yes, the pictures do not do it justice or I am amazed that you were stuck... B
  15. Yes. 4th gear is the 'direct drive' gear, but I have no idea why that would make it slip more... Yes, bleed the clutch system Don't make any choices until you see, but an entire OEM clutch system replacement is about $250. That's what I did and no problems... B
  16. LOL, fair enough you Canadian... Just keep your fish to yourself!! http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...031&hl=UHMW B
  17. Bump... I'm am in a much better position to follow up on this now. Is there still interest in buying these? Prices will need adjusting, I don't know what the current cost of material is. White, blue or black would be the color choices, 3/8 thick is what I am considering for the front plate (under carriage protection would be the next step). I'll need a guinea pig to test one out (and mounting hardware) before I make batches of them. Any regular wheeler want to work with me on this?? Hey JJ_Big Shoe, hit anymore stumps or have any input about it? (other than fitment ) Lets see what the response is... B
  18. I have a 95 and mine is on during cold mornings. In the warmer afternoons it won't display. I pretty much ignore it; it's probably just the sensor/connector at the BMC... Oh, I don't have ABS either... B
  19. Yeah, I'm going to make a set for my 'new' 95 once I do the BL and SL in a few months. I still have some material in my garage... As for how I did it, I'm pretty sure there is a thread that SEARCH would locate that goes into detail. Tell you what. If you buy a pathy within the next 3 years and are still interested, PM me and I'll tell you what I know... B
