  1. Yes, they appear to be the same as the JCR/AC arms, but the Explorer sticker on them has me scratching my head. Maybe just an aerly rebadge for distribution... Does anyone know, do the AC UCAs use the same bushings as the stock UCAs? These?? https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/upper-control-arm-bushings-p-4131.html Thanks, B
  2. Still trying to figure it out... B
  3. I truly apologize, the O2 sensor for my 95 is M18x1.5. I did not think to check that they changed the thread size between the years. Did you check or specify?? Picture of a 91 O2 sensor. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=481678 Picture of a 95 O2 sensor http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=481588 Hard to tell and pictures aren't always accurate, but different part numbers... B
  4. BFG MT KM2. Mid priced and good all around other than on sheet ice. B
  5. Normal, both of mine do/did it. B
  6. Cool, sounds like you have options. I was going to offer to make one for you. B
  7. Don't fix the rust until fall, buy a set of Mile Marker hubs and install (these will keep the front CV's from spinning, giving you better rolling resistance and increased mileage 1-2mph, $90 on sale at 4wheel parts), look for job while driving as little as possible. Keep at it and it will work out. Good Luck. B
  8. I'll look on the wife's 99 tonight when I get home... B
  9. Give these guys a call, both me and a co-worker have used them with satisfaction. I got a set of 6 VG33 injectors, the fuel rails, connector lines and pressure regulator for $150... http://www.ninfiniti.com/ B
  10. Cool, good to hear, that is one thing I would like to do myself but I'm not sure I could justify it when my current motor runs great with 106k on it. Just watch out for puddles with the CAI, a few people have hydrolocked to various degrees... B
  11. I'm pretty sure there is a guy in Florida running axles like that, not sure if they were identical though. IIRC he was running a VG30 so yeah, geared correctly with the appropriate size tire it should work. B
  12. Check it and the lines for vacuum leaks, something may not be sealing or an old vacuum line may have cracked from handling. Check the wiring/connector to the MAF. Post pictures and basic dimension, check the ECU to see if it detects any component faults. A short ram is pretty simple so there is probably something else going on. Don't get frustrated yet... B
  13. x43 on bleeding it. If it has been a while, do yourself a favor and replace the brake fluid while bleeding it, just don't suck any air into the MC. B
  14. Your welcome, and just my opinion. I have 2.25 on my VG30 necked down to 2.0 at the high flow cat and back open again (this was necessary for smog purposes) and it has very little restriction. Don't forget to upgrade the intake to match, what do you run right now?? How do you like the VG33 upgrade, make a lot of difference? B
  15. You have th stock manifold, headers are designed differently as each port has it's own tube, not just dumping into a common chamber. I would recommend headers, a high flow cat and 2.25 or maybe 2.5" tubing on back. Tubing alone with stock manifolds won't make a large difference. When determining what size to run, remember, you only have a 3.3 liter V6 and larger is not always better. FYI 2.25" pipe has 67% more area than the stock 3.0 pipe, that's a huge difference... B
  16. And Superlift, complete with serial numbers and zerk fitting holes. These are for the Hardbody, of course. *cough, cough* B
  17. True, I forgot to mention that. You have to remove some beef so you can actually drive... Calmini is hit and miss as my experience with the idler arm brace shows, but that's another story. B
  18. Once again, thank you beastpath. I tried to find this earlier before I started this thread... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=23611&st=0&p=426314&hl=superlift&fromsearch=1entry426314 B
  19. Agreed, but please do post a good picture if you have it. Yep, and now I'm curious if these are the same or not. Anyone ever map out an AC UCA?? B
  20. Calmini makes a beefy looking product for a beefy price... B
  21. Well, it looks a lot like the AC (4x4parts.com) upper control arm now that I found a picture of them. Didn't AC get the design from another company that either went out of business or stopped producing them? Is this one of the original makes? It would be good to compare them to a stock unit, but I'm fresh out... AC UCAs. B
  22. Here are Rancho and Rough Country pictures courtesy of beastpath. The Ranchos are red... B
  23. Like it said. A buddy of mine got a 91 Pathy XE with 135k on it as well as these interesting UCAs. The bushings are shot (visibly loose, part of why he got a deal) so I gave/lent him my stock ones with good bushings while I map these out and make some bushings for them. Has anyone seen or heard of these before? I believe those are stock spindles and they are made out of steel. I'll take more pictures and make a 'print' by reverse engineering it. In the mean time, I'll display pictures of all the known aftermarket manufacturers that I find. Rough Country, SuperLift, Rancho, Automotive Customizers, Calmini. B
