  1. I recommend talking to this guy... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/18653-genuine-nissan-parts/ B
  2. No worries, it's not a crime and yes, that makes sense, per se. The main problem is it gets different people posting for the same items in different threads. Then there is the confusion... I'll just close the thread and leave this link to your thread in the For Sale section. Good luck. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/34052-93-pathfinder-going-out-to-pasture-motor-is-done-for/ B
  3. Thanks for the update and the part number. Any interest in posting a few photos of the disassembly/process? B
  4. What temps are you talking about? When does it overheat, fast, slow or all the time? I'm not familiar with the diesels but I'll go by common practice which may vary due to the answers above. Make sure your fan clutch is working properly. Make sure the radiator is not clogged and flush the cooling system with a proper descaling product. Make sure your temperature sender is functioning correctly. If your tranny runs hot, it could be adding heat to the coolant so an aftermarket cooler would help a little. You are running properly mixed antifreeze, not just water, right? I've owned 4 Nissan trucks over the last 17 years and live in California where it gets to 35-40*C every year (last 3 days actually) and I have never had engine temperature issues if everything was working properly so I suspect there is a culprit, not an overall system weakness. Again, I am only speaking from petrol motor experience though. B
  5. Very nice! Even bone stock, that would be a good upgrade from the VG30. I look forward to seeing you having it on (and off) the road. B
  6. I was just about to suggest to the PO that I move this to the Classified/For Sale section. I don't thing there is any benefit to having a thread out side of that, anyone who is looking goes there anyway and it keeps the place more organized... B
  7. The latter one is pinned in the Garage section and is the one I suspect you are asking about. Thanks for the links TC. B
  8. Yes, it doesn't sound right like that, does it? What did your friends have to say about the seafoaming, before, during and after? B
  9. Not from my experience. I've removed/installed them on 3 WD21s and 2 Rr50s drivers plus many from the junkyard and never had one break in any way. Not an issue... If you lift, you should remove the bottom 1/3 piece that is designed to come off for clearance. It will cool well enough but leave the rest of the shroud to help with cooling and for general safety, it succeeds with both. B
  10. Yes, the bell housing is the same from what I understand, one of the reasons the VG33 swap into a WD21 is so popular... I find it hard to source used Hardbody parts (or even Hardbodies themselves for that matter) around here, but yes, those should work also if the gearing is the same. B
  11. Yes, I understand that they are identical other than the fill hole is higher up in the casting, giving it the desired reservoir. They are fairly rare and might be hard to find though... B
  12. It'll work even better with the fan shroud in place. Good to hear the fan clutch is a non issue though... B
  13. Standard NGK Plugs are listed as BKR6ES on their wedsite. BKR6EY # is the V power... I run BKR6EGP. What's wrong with them? B
  14. The PO is asking about Xterras, specifically 2005. Really, in CT? B
  15. Yes, cut it like this. You can do a steeper angle; there is a bit of extra metal that accomplishes nothing structurally speaking. It's just the same angle iron rounded so it makes sense from a manufacturing stand point, if not aesthetically speaking. Part of why it is cheap... I would understand if it was a case of wrong fitment/model year/whatever but this one was just so far out of square it wouldn't seal on the bottom or the holes would have to be opened at least 50%, allowing it to shift. It was simply made incorrectly. Working in manufacturing, I know how bad product can get out the door but how you deal with it afterwards is the other 1/2 of business. Hopefully they have it all sorted out now. B

    fender flares

Nope, I don't believe they fit. Sorry... They often come up for sale, but there are actually several fender flare/mud flap combinations for the WD21 alone. Make sure to get the 1994-1995 versions for your vehicle. I have a set to get rid of, but shipping to you would probably be expensive... B
  17. /\x2 You might have to repeat this a few times. Did you check it with the vehicle parked on a level surface? Does it leave drips when it is parked? Do you know a mechanic type person who can take a look? B
  18. Ok, refer back to Towncivilian's post about checking the level and condition of the fluid. B
  19. Ok, just wondering. Not trying to talk you out of them or anything... My current spring rate feels about like what I want with the ARB up front, but we'll see what happens when the winch goes in. I don't see the T-bar replacement as a significant job though, especially if it's been done recently. B
  20. Possibly... I've used engine flush products before, usually only once when I buy a vehicle and then it is per instructions, usually 'idle for 5 minutes'. I haven't used Sea Foam for that purpose, or for injector cleaning, I generally just dump some Techron in the tank when I remember and call it good. Some people swear by certain products while others don't see any real improvement so I suspect it is a case by case situation. The fact that there are so many products out there doesn't help either. B
  21. Hey Bud, I've lost track, but are you adding a lot of armor and/or winch? What has made you decide you need new T-bars? B
  22. How many miles might that be of what kind of driving? What evactly is it doing? The less you drive it before you figure out the issue, the better... Do the Terranos have the same radiator cooler issue? B
  23. This stuff, eh? http://www.bgprod.com/products/fuelair.html Never heard of it, but worth looking into... B
  24. Install a snorkel and then talk like that. The airbox position on these allow them to sip when they dip, so why ruin the fun... B
  25. "Precise1: I forget as its been a while, is there a link on the forum for the FSM? I don't have one otherwise." Yep, see above... Thanks for providing the link Bud! B
