  1. Don't forget the shag carpeting and the water bed! :tonguefinger:
  2. If and when my motor decides to quit on me, I've got some pretty serious plans for it. Power should rival a slightly modified 350.
  3. Those numbers are at the wheels at 5280ft elevation (Denver, CO), on an Alpine kit running 6 (or maybe 8) psi on an Xterra.
  4. Nice Mook. Those 8900s are NICE! I was looking at them, and the 7800/8800 for my mobile unit, but dang, they're pricey! When you get the 7800, let me know how you like it. I've been debating that and the 8800/8900. Good to see a few other HAMs out there.
  5. 4xFools is the club that Phil runs.
  6. I remember that thread, but I couldn't find it, and CB was way too broad of a search option...hah. I also figured it would be nice to have a sort of running registry of all the NPORA HAMs.
  7. I'm working on getting my license, and will be taking the exam in June. Just curious if there are any other HAMs out there... If you're comfortable with it, toss up your call sign and what kind of equipment you're using!
  8. It is....however, I thought the Alpine unit used the M90. Maybe they produced a more affordable unit for AC to sell using the M62? Here's a dyno chart from one on an Xterra running 6psi. This was done in Denver, at 5280ft above sea level, before final tuning.
  9. The only thing that I'm not thrilled with about that setup is the M62 is a WEAK supercharger. They should have used the M90.
  10. There are a couple of kits available for the 350Z/G35. I bet they can be adapted to work on the Pathfinders.
  11. If it only boosts 5psi...not enough to blow the CHP off the road.
  12. When you PMed me like 6 hours ago, I told you about the search feature...
  13. AC has just released their Supercharger kit for 3.3L R50 Pathfinders. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/i...ef42d50aa5c0c86 I'm saving my pennies!
  14. I've got 85,000 very hard miles on my coils. The powdercoating is flaking off, and they're starting to rust. My total lift is down to just under 3". I haven't heard a strut top out except when I hit a big bump off road and the tire comes off the ground in about 2 years. I'm actually debating whether or not to spend the money to replace them.
  15. There's a fellow over on AC that is planning a 40,000 mile expedition from the Arctic Circle through South America, and back. Sounds like a great trip. He's spending a buttload of money on his R50 to get it ready, but the coolest part is what he's doing to improve fuel economy, and decrease his fossil fuel consumption! Check it out... http://www.4x4parts.com/ubbthreads/showfla...ge=0#Post541700
  16. I'm going to be doing the perfect setup in the next year or so. Stay tuned to this forum for updates. The project is currently very hush-hush, so don't bother PMing me for info, as I won't share it. There are a select few who know about it, but they know that if they divulge any information regarding my suspension, I will run them over with my new TJM that I'm putting on next weekend.
  17. I'm not saying that PCs don't have their strengths, but for what I use a computer for, the Mac just does it better.
  18. If Macs are so @!*%ty, how come I can leave my Powerbook G4 up and running for months at a time without any sort of slow-down, virus, spyware, issue whatsoever. How come the Powerbook boots up to the full OS from a complete shut down in 15 seconds flat? How come it comes out of sleep mode in 5 seconds flat? If Macs are so inferior, why do I have to have 3 firewalls, 3 layers of spyware protection, and 3 layers of anti-virus protection on my Windows machine? If Macs are so inferior, why do I have to shut it down every night to avoid having it lock up on me? If Macs are so inferior, why does it take the Windows machine 3 entire minutes to boot up, and take almost a full minute to come out of sleep mode? If Macs are so inferior, how come I have never gotten a Virus on mine, but I've had my entire hard drive wiped out 3 times by Viruses on my Windows machne? I've had nothing but hunks of useless crap from these two companies. I had an Acer laptop that was given to me at work, and it lasted 3 months. It was about as top of the line as you could get in April of last year, and it couldn't even run AutoCAD. I've had two eMachines computers catch on FIRE! Yeah, a real quality product right there all right!
  19. Alex, nissandoms47, has done it recently. I'm pretty sure it's fairly straightforward, but it will be a hassle, no doubt.
  20. Or, you could just order them from AC like everyone else.
