At least now you'll remember to double check them before you go out in the future...

Flyer, I have the BlackPanther skids, and they are amazing. The craftsmanship on them is superb. They're very easy to install...with 5 arms or a jack/cooler to support the plate. One thing, just make sure you get the rear most bracket bar on the right way, or the holes wont line up. I've got the smaller one, and they've held up to everything I've thrown them at, including a big rock at 10+mph that stopped me dead in my tracks with not so much as a little knick in the powdercoating. For the price, and the level of support that Marcel offers, you really can't go wrong.

More reason to mount the hi-lift on the truck....they make for good clubs....hehehe.... I'm 21 and my sister is 15, she's scared to go to any of her high schools sports events because of the stupid crap people pull there. I went with her to one and got in a big hiney fight. Why do YDFOC kids try to start (I am a dork for trying to use profanity here) with people who have 80+ lbs on them and 4-5 years on them? Granted, I'm not the biggest guy in the world, but at 6' 220 and built like a linebacker, most people wont mess with me, but there are those few dumbasses that just dont know whats good for them.

You can't go wrong with a Nissan, even a first year. Their warranty service has been excellent in my experience. As for your first gripe, there is already lots of aftermarket development for the new Frontiers and Xterras. You should start seeing parts available in the coming months.

I've camped in the back of my Pathy before, but only for a couple days at most. Never spent an extended period in there....
-
Mine is the same....I've spent almost $1000 trying to fix it. I said F-It, as I see no change in performance whatsoever. In fact, when the SES light turns off, I think something is wrong...LOL. I'm so used to having it there, its like a littie guiding light telling me that, "Hey, you're trucks on."....LOL.

Yeah...simply remove the two screws at the bottom, and pull, hard, by the heater vents. You'll have to disconnect some wiring harnesses once you get it off, but that's easy.

I think my favorite mod is definitely the skid plates....they have saved my underbelly so many times....oh man....great buy. Oh, and buy the Black Panther ones, THEY'RE TOP NOTCH!

Well, I guess I can only say 5-10, but it's been on for 8 months now....so, I dunno...LOL.... Every time I get the codes pulled, it's a No Fault code that's triggering the light, so I'm just like...F.It.

I've only seen Anime once, and it was the single raunchiest thing I've ever seen. Almost made me hurl. Something about electricity, enimas and animals just seems wrong.

Girlpath, Where in MD are you? A little closer to you (about an hour less than PAP) is a fairly new park called Raush Creek Off-Road Park. We're going up there this weekend. If you're interested for the next one, I can put you on our mailing list...

Same place you'll use these.... :allclean: :gossip: LOL.

You can step up voltage with a drop in current. How do you think you can run a 120V Power Inverter off your 12V cigarette lighter plug? As for the actuator itself, you have to make sure to get an internally limited one, otherwise you'll burn up the motor and possibly strip out the gears. For mine, I was thinking of getting a remote actuated release for the latch, and then spring loading the hook, so it pops out a little bit, and then putting some really strong shocks on it so they'll push it up. But I'm not sure if I can get shocks strong enough to do that at the right length.

It's 2.23-2.30 here...I've seen it as high as $2.79 for 87 (but that's at the always uber-expensive gas station near the Shieks house.

Happy 4/4 all....this is kinda silly....LOL....But I love it!

I'm currently alternating between: Over It - Silverstrand and Brad Paisley - Mud On The Tires...

Bump....coming up NEXT WEEKEND! You know you want to go!...Don't let me be the ONLY Pathfinder there with a bunch of Xterras! :X
-
I'm actually going to be getting the 3"....I don't really want the 6". As for Martin, he can't ever get there for them to do anything with his truck, so yeah...haha.

It is absolutely NOT just a dead topic...Was talking with Phil last night, and it appears that I may very well be the first L&P Lifted R50. He also said that they are not going to officially release it until it has been tested, and I volunteered as the test mule...

If your Pathfinder died, what would replace it?

New tires/wheels flinging debris on side panels
vengeful replied to Flyer's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
OHHHH! It's white...I get it now! White shows everything man...why'd you get white? You can get some of that Teflon wax stuff and put a nice thick coat of it on....will shine up the truck real nice and should take care of most of your problems. Also, a bug and tar removing sponge might be one of the next things to try... -
New tires/wheels flinging debris on side panels
vengeful replied to Flyer's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
So, let me get this straight. You drive a truck, you knowingly put big, wide, off-road tires, on wider rims that stick out farther, you're on an off-road forum, and you're complaining about a little bit of dirt? My tires stick out 2" from the fenders, I don't have flares, my truck is always caked in dirt, and I don't care. Not to sound like an arse or anything, but jeez man, don't you think you're being a little sensitive? -
