  1. that's wierd as i find this easy and the search function seems to work way better for me the other one ever did.
  2. not! smaller contact -> less friction _> longer braking distance.
  3. lol... would like to see a prius engine someday. looked under the cowlings of Ferraris, Lotuses, Vettes and Jaguars today. very, very cool.
  4. good to hear things are starting to look up for you Phil.
  5. that's not bad.. compare with ARB one.
  6. ^^^ looks like someone has been practicing. red, i am rather shocked.. p's work seemed very good in the past.
  7. LET YOUR FINGERS DO THE WALKING.. USE A PHONE. ASK. GOOD LUCK.
  8. you know the funny thing is that i saw a guy commuting to work on one of these the other day.
  9. yeah rock stack or a dirt ramp would surely help.
  10. check the dr. door jamb as it is spelled out what tires your truck came with from the factory.
  11. what the heck do you drive? pretty sure r51s come stock with 32s or 33s.
  12. i bet it was all related to wheeling. if i get stuff wet under the hood then my truck coughs and runs like crap for a while but then it straigtens out after it has a chance to dry out. if you're not getting any more codes, i wouldn't worry about it.
  13. HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOD ON THIS FORUM.
  14. lol same here.. real lucky you are dj. good.
  15. ^^^ what he said.. there is also a possibility of swithing to LP although the last time i looked into it it seemed way too expensive.
  16. those seem a little high. try autozone. cv boots are like $12 ea.; bj's are 20-25 ea; i don't recall the tre's but if that's the price for all 4 then that's not too bad.
  17. safety is paramount my man so whatever you do be extremely careful. i jack my truck up by the rear axle sometime, yes. front is more tricky; i use the frame most of the time. and that is also the best place to place the stands; under the frame. also make sure you start on a level surface.. any incline can be deadly as our trucks are pretty heavy.
  18. yeah.. mine was spot welded and i had to fight the x member too.. most everyone on here hasn't had that much trouble though. let us know how it went.
  19. i have popping sounds from shock bushings being about gone. it could be what simon stated above and possibly the stabilizer links. have someone sit in the truck and turn the wheel while you're under there observing and listening. good luck man.
