  1. lol, thanks... man, i almost always work on my vehicles all by myself... necessity is the mother of invention after all...
  2. air bubble in the system or bad sensor or somthing... just some guesses
  3. as to one man operations.. try using a string or a bungee cord from your steering wheel or head rest to the hood popping mech in the cab...
  4. yeah, not as much as before but spring is here and am planning on riding more this year..
  5. i switched to gl a while ago without adverse effects....
  6. yeh, i can see that.. hmm? clear the codes and try again...
  7. yeah, check for codes. o2 sens is easy if not rusted in. it's in the exhaust pipe under the driver
  8. pop the hood. start the tk and accel. manually while listening and looking.. you should be able to figure out where the noise is coming from...
  9. running like crap (bogging on accel. etc..) and very low mpg...
  10. sounds like the battery.... i don't think your tk should be running after disconnecting of the battery though...
  11. first you have to learn. no locker or 4x4 will ever substitute that. when you reach your linits in 2 (and no that last jaunt was no the limit) look into a locker and off you go....
  12. pop the hood and look man. you could also have a hole in the rad... could be other things...
  13. it's an antenna. i don't remember any price difference when i replaced mine..

i think i'd just sell it with the leak... the price is a bit high for just seal work but then it does have to be removed from the vehicle... they might as well do everything to it while it's out.. otherwise it's a waste of an effort.. imho..
  17. must be... but i am guessing you've turned all nuts and bolts on you tk at least a couple of times by now...
  18. Use the orange stuff instead of green and you'll be that much better off...
  19. i remember when you got her that truck... darn.. mine is just like it... good to hear your daughter is fine well, she'll have an air bag in the new one.... any salvegable parts worth the trouble???
  20. not sure if i am reading you right but if i am then vice grips on the nut and a wrench on the bolt... otherwise burn away...
  21. you probably don't have one then... not many US trucks had them that i am aware of...
  22. isn't the glass tinted already? i had one from the factory but we bought the first one brand new... never used it though... it had plastic screws that go in those "holes" in the glass...
  23. you still want to de-rust all the loose stuff. that kind stuff works great though.. i used a different brand but it looks good and seems to do what it says..
  24. i don't know if your trucks have the shift selenoid but if that is broken/plugged/etc... it will act just like you describe.. also, sometimes the linkage needs to be re-adjusted...
