  1. wasssssssupppppppppppppppppppp

  2. Hey all, great info on these boards!!!

  3. on my way to pickup my pathy from the shop for the same problems. Installed the Pacesetter headers too. 520.00 for the tapping out of 4 bolts and the install.
  4. Remember, 60% of that price is for labor. It is a PITA to get thosebolts out. I had a garage give back my truck due to the trouble to get those bolts out. He stated if I truly charge you for the time its going to take my guys to remove those bolts you were to think I was ripping you off. He gave me the keys back and said lets stay friends. He's my dads deisel mechanic. lol
  5. its the fan clutch. once the ride gets up past normal temp the whine starts.
  6. If I install the header kit would my ticking noise go away or woul that be a seperate job. I read that replacing the bolts are a real PITA so I am trying to avoid a nightmare.
  7. Hey fellas, its been a while. Recently my 92 Pathy will not start, seems to be a very dead battery. It will start with a 20 dollar booster box (pep boys speacial). The battery will not charge and its only about 8 months old. I disconnected the battery while the Pathy was on and all seems fine, running well so its not the alternator. I tightend everything back up shut it doen and it will not start. The lights go on the dash but when i crank it it will just flicker and all goes dead again. I use the booster box and it starts right up.
  8. Just experienced this see the garage forum under "Frozen Calipers" Did the job myself and I am a little better than a rookie
  9. It will go on as one sheet if you cut from the defroster post to the edge on both sides of the window (cut underneath the defroster line onece film is applied. This will help the tint bend to the shape of the glass. A little heat from a blow dryer would help as well. No need to remove the window, just the handle form the lock part of the hatch. Simpler Cut the window into shape and split the tint in half horizontaly. Apply top portion with soapy water and smooth out, apply bottom half and smooth out. Done. The fly windows are the hardest to smooth out in one piece. Tinting put me through some hardtimes in my college days
  10. Does anyone know the average price to fix this ticking leak?
  11. My 92 SE has 4 wheel discs. Just completed the front last night and banged it out in 2 hours. I was a little iffy about the bleeding but they do work well. Total cost so far: Loaded calipers L and R about 210.00 when I return the core. NAPA autoparts. Yes fellas, it was that simple. thanks for the adivse. I'll do the rears on tuesday or wednesday, they didnt have them in stock as of yesturday. Angel
  12. Just came back from the dealer and they stated the calipers are frozen (3 of 4). They smacked me with a 1490.00 quote. I did read the write up but it would be a PITA to do it in this weather and I have no time. So I just did the oil change and parked the bad boy just to weigh my options. Are caliper replacements that expensive? I really dont think so. What are some recommendations, please.
  13. Total install time took about 1 hour. Those bolts were frozen solid. A little heat and a lead pipe for leverage and done. Couldnt get it to line up correctlyin the begining. Turned the wheel a little and a little banging. Done.
  14. Hey guys new to this informative site. My compression rod snapped last night and I need one quick. Is these easy to obtain. It does not look too difficult to replace. Any suggestion on where to oreder from and how long the install is. There's a pic in the chilton manual 8-10 for reference fig.50
