  1. firefox (mozilla.org)... anyone still using IE, WHY? firefox has a spellchecker and other geat dudahs.. tabs anyone...
  2. off! meltdown most probable...
  3. oh, thank you.. ... and to add one thing to 88's great comment: you also have frost (frozen water) on all the external parts (linkages...)
  4. clear out the codes and see if it comes back... oh yah, you mean it's only -14F....
  5. 30k with no oil change... man you're pushing it even by manufcturer standards... Nissan recommends 5w30 in the V6.... i run 10w30 but would run thinner if i was in MN... look into synthetics. they are so good...
  6. fuel filer would be my first suspect too. may want to run injector cleaner for good measure too. could also be O2 sensor still. sounds like your truck has quite a few miles on it so it could also be cat conv. but if it didn't act up when you disconnected whatever you disconnected then that's prob your culprit.... especially if it did come back after disconnect... also, since you just worked on your car check all connections and vacuum hoses especailly in the areas of your last work... could have bumped something off..
  7. :cool2: alright!!! i didn't see you mention the hoses but i sure hope you got them on there too. do it right the first time.... at AutoZone i picked up calipers and hoses for about 150 total... it saves to shop around...

    Jerky stops

BFH= yeh, remove the hub (center cap) and the washer w/ screws etc... are in there... i am assuming you're 4x4... the hub is retained by 6-8 7mm allen (torx) bolts...

    Jerky stops

bfh my friend... hahahahahaha then you'll have a "washer with two phillips screws, then a nut and that's about it. when removing the locking hubs, make sure to keep the "breaks" in the same order they came out... as to turning you rotors. if you feel the need, when you have the assemblies off of the tk take them to pep boys or auto zone and have them turned. about $10 ea... repacking bearings is easy.. don't forget new seals, inner and outer for both sides... new brake hoses too...
  10. "turning" rotors is over-rated imho... if they are out a bunch sure, but for the most part just toss new pads and you're good to go...
  11. my 89 SE had 4 calipers. my 94 XE has two drums and two discs...
  12. i think i picked up the front callipers for just over 100. don't forget to get new hoses. if the calis are bad, most likely, so are the hoses and you're already there... the job is pretty simple. i don't see why you couldn't do the whole thing in a couple of hours or so..
  13. air in the lines... master cyliner going...
  14. you pretty much covered it. also, there are a few threads about this in the garage...
  15. i think the design is pretty much done. not really anything to vote on.
  16. is that high quality t-shirt. that was one of the bitches earlier. I can get them done here in Indy for $10-$15 ea. also. I don't have all the details but could look into it more... I'd go for 1 blk and 1 grey if that's one of the backgrounds. probably XL unless they are huge.
  17. O2 sensor symptoms are similar. to start run ecu codes. info (sticky) in the garage.

    Jerky stops

man, i don't even remember when i turned any of the rotors on any of amy vehicles.. if you get a vibration then definately otherwise don't waste your time....
  19. yes on that too but the lines have special clips etc and as i remember they are only to the fuel filter where they turn to ss... just be carefull and test... that's all i am saying...
  20. yup fuse... i was actually refering to your fix. the lines are under a lot of pressure.
