  1. 93+ Hardbodies had 'ventless' smooth fronted hoods, also don't have the 2 little indented bodylines up them but have a slightly 'raised' center to them. Thats what the base of my hood was and a couple people have swapped them onto their pathfinders round here (if i remember right GrimGreg did to one of his trucks at least and Doughboy had one on his when he had a pathfinder)... as for the fenders, they are prerunner ones, I think fabtech used to make them and made bedsides for the HB as well, though the bedsides looked COMPLETLY horrible in my personal opinion. Looked like someone cut the fenderwell out and tried to make a half-fast dually bed with their eyes closed while someone was cutting their fingers off with a butter knife...
  2. I may be 10 months younger but im a good 70k miles deeper (and still one of the lower miled trucks at work) now yo ucan get classic plates!
  3. Though I somewhat agree and could care less about badge engineering, I can see the money to be made bringing back the badge. Retro sells. I won't be putting "Datsun 2100" badges on my truck or anything but have no problems with the name coming back
  4. Proof parents don't love their daughters...
  5. All those things are wearable items, especially on a 20 year old truck though I fail to see what it has to do with seatbelts...
  6. you always have issues. just drive it to me with title in hand, i'll hand you cash and you won't have to worry anymore
  7. day ended early at work today so I actually did something. Put my front sway bar back on with new bar-to-frame bushings, tightened the right valve cover and changed the left one (only needed tightened as well, could grab both and wiggle them a little , but now I have dual 710 caps), found where the vacuum line for the cruise went/installed, put a couple of dangling grounds back on, and re-siliconed my dizzy cap (had to take the dizzy out to change the cover anyway)
  8. Electronics would probaly be the most issue, otherwise they make welders and plasma cutters for a reason!
  9. all wd21 Pathfinder fenders will interchange as will all d21 Hardbody 4x4 fenders. 2wd d21 Hardbody fenders will bolt on but have less 'bulge' to them (why the 2wd reflector collector crowd likes the 4x4 fenders, less work to get tuck)
  10. for your truck, honest opinion: make it flow with the lines of the truck and not try to add some out of place bodyline and that could turn out pretty dam sweet. Nice because you ain't gotta worry about a plate box too, just maby tuck your exhaust up and have a tip that comes out 'through' it only ending basicly flush with the pan itself.
  11. Accidentally diagnosed why my cruise don't work (vacuum line that goes to nowhere). Didn't fix it, just diagnose it and some parts prep next project is waiting for a day I feel like pulling the dizzy to get the old valve cover off
  12. First reply covered it so we were just having some fun
  13. It the past, I have pulled shocks FROM a Pathfinder TO a 4x4 HB. Worked? Yes, Correct?
  14. bracket to attach piston pull back springs (for quicker revs) is missing...
  15. easier to design 1 panel that WILL accomodate it, even if not equipped otherwise it's somewhere to stick popcicle sticks while driving when done eating them instead of being a litter bug!
  16. its electric!

      But is it water proof?

  17. I expect to see stuff like that in nunya's posts! wait... I'm nunya...
  18. I got the same Eagle Alloys currently mounted right now. I'm just too dam lazy to switch the tires to different wheels
  19. so did you take the scale to the garage or the wheel to the bathroom!? And why not just set the wheel on the scale?
  20. Blind spot I would assume, like the big mirrors you see mounted on the back corner of some delevery vans. TME, that tire being moved up a little affect visibility at all? (meant to ask originally)
  21. Depending on the "protection" you were planning on going with, the damage could have ended up worse. Some nice thick bumper with a solid headlight hoop could help but a cheap fog light holder/brush guard could just bend in further causing more issues than before.
  22. They are the 'correct' alternative to smacking the drum with a hammer to free it from being gaulded to the hub. Either way you have to factor in a possible rust lip on the drum as well.
