  1. I don't bother with my regular page for maintnance stuff (hell I don't generally even say that here, maby in poho sometimes) and you don't gotta look to hard for a replacement either
  2. I've killed a HB 5 speed in the past, can only be blamed on some shaky hardware between the steering wheel and the seat though I started on adding another way to hold fishing rods with my truck. Start of an alternative to using the ski rack things on the roof, which I will still use too And good job Kyle on getting more involved on your own repairs
  3. Panther Pink actually(NOT Furious Fuscha), im still a car guy, from an automotive family
  4. Neither one of you were useful, unsuprisingly. nismoblunder, you shoulda suggested a re-shelled, custom made awd Prius 94SEV6, if he is only gonna get say 1/2 the distance per gallon of homebrew over pump, but only cost 1/4 the cost per gallon to make over buying pump, that's still spending less though getting less mpg. Sorry as I have no useful info for the topic at hand, but hopefully someone will pop in to help shed some light for you
  5. "it won't slide in when lined up" do you mean it won't fully seat or won't line up when fully set? You factor in the gear having to "mesh"?
  6. Yea, she ain't there anymore but the Rascal Flatts haircut dink is still there
  7. only crack it a little, no need to watch it go totally flat in 15 seconds when it's being vindictive to someone who was inconsiderate to you. It will be flat by time they come back to their vehicle I used to have those in a brass flavor kept away in multiple places but could never remember where. I find it easier to just keep an actual schrader valve tool (their cheap and have a easy to hold handle) handy. Easy to fit one in a plug kit and you'll know where its at!
  8. I guess cleaning won't solve THAT issue!
  9. I know it's common for XJ Jeep guys to use boat vents, and I personally like them. Just mind what's below them due to weather access now being able to get through once you put them in.
  10. x2 on adamzans thought, no recoil back I would think would be due to still having some air in there. Had it happen on a previous HB once after replacing a master. Took a couple bleeds to get it solid fluid the whole way through and did you try cleaning your MAF yet instead of instant replacement? http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5194
  11. not specifically feminine things but Q-tips are a must, squirt bottle full of peroxide, masking tape is my bandage, tweezers, fingernail cutters, and pair of socks. I have used lipstick that was left in my truck as a 'wax pen' of sorts, but it was more of a lesson of 'don't clutter your crap in my clutter' and didn't work because it was one meant for the trash anyway...
  12. I'll stand up for Kyle here, he's learned and is continuing to do so. Much improvement from newb Kyle, past is past buckaroo Now let's keep with topic at hand and not bash what Kyle WAS
  13. Progress is a good thing, you actually take it for a ride or just rev it in the driveway?
  14. If there were any diagrams under MY hood, the would be about useless anyway as they woulda been for a 93 KA
  15. Just cause the cap is new don't mean it can get moisture in it, I like to pu a bead of silicone along the bottom of mine every time I pull it (even if I don't exactly get out and off the pavement like I woul like to, I still got a hole in the middle of my hood remember ) Definatly can't hurt to do some preventive maintnance of replacing vac lines, even if it ain't your "current" issue, you'll be solving some future ones for a good wHile by doing so. Just be patient and do them 1 at a time so you dont get jumbled
  16. I say go with some 205/75/r15 studded whitewalls
  17. Did a shop floor toe-and-go allignment, eye-balling it. Didnt do too bad since now the steering wheel is strait for the first time in years from to something else to get used to now...
  18. My fault on the name confusion then, and my apologies to Fleurys for forgetting the name he uses off hand as well.
  19. One thing I noticed when I candied one set of tails solid red, I lost alot of usefulness of the reverse light illumination at night. Might be a thought for you.
  20. For alternitave ways, you may want to hunt around here actually. There is a member who goes by Fleurys (Krypton Fab) who makes a sub frame drop (SFD) lift kit and theres actually a member here selling his http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=32819 as I belive he has collected needed stuff for a solid axle swap and no longer needs it.
  21. the tab on the centerlink (last pic) is for a factory steering stabilizer
  22. What's your plans? Trying to build a trophy truck, a desert carver, a simple wheeler that looks overly menacing? I ain't a r50 genius but I'd personally say your gonna have to "build" a 'kit' from a few companies worth of parts and maby some home-fab/make something else fit stuff to get exactly what your aiming for
  23. a missing trait in a lot of people that keeps my lights on
