  1. This is for persons who are not mechanics, and want to know where is what. Many important points on the image. For example, I had a black smoke from exhaust so many persons were recommending many things, except to check THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (35 usd on ebay, on the image below is the old one), as the carburator was so dirty. But before that I have changed the spark plugs, distributor cap, wires for spark plugs, oil, air filter, almost bought O2 sensor (but I will), as the motor was stalling on iddle. So, this is the part that keeps sending "dirty" message to the comp
  2. updated links: http://rapidshare.com/files/255584248/CARPDFNSNPATH95.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/255900292/CARPDFNSNPATH96.rar password carpdf.net
  3. I have few questions: What is this (Transmission Bushing)?: What is this (Lower Control Arm Bushing)? What is this (Track Arm Bushing)? Is this the same as the other one (Control Arm Bushing)? please do not laugh loud.
  4. Next to change are: 2 CV Boots, 2 Lower & 2 Upper Ball Joints 2 Front Inner Tie Rod Ends 2 OUTER TIE ROD Ends Your Expert for Bushings.
  5. Only one set was used, on the left side, black. Bushings and sleeve:
  6. Ultra Gray RTV Sealant, that you use for making gaskets.
  7. Okay, to continue my famous changing of bushings. I used "Energy Suspension" bushings (and I had made in Japan black ones that comes with sleeve inside). So, Energy Suspension sleeves are no good, and can not be used, I should buy four made in Japan instead. Installed top row of red ones. We had to use old sleeves. I throw Energy Suspension sleeves as garbage. Well I think that I will use long ones as a slide for my Stratocaster. It looks like this: Installation was easy, I was watching what mechanic was doing, I gave him the paper instructions of Energy Suspension, but he did not used the instructions... We also changed the shock bushings (top shock bushings, there are two donuts). There was a problem to find lower shock bushings, in local store, and they told me that is impossible to get factory lower shock bushings, and that I should use two parts that looks like cone bushing, then we cut each ending of sides so it can fit in. Edicer2 told me to get Turn Stopper Caps, (https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/turn-stopper-caps-p-6072.html) and I did, here is the image:
  8. and "Moog K90591 Sway Bar Frame Bushing" was installed here (two bushings for sway bar)
  9. these: will come here: the oil is coming out of the old steering pump, probably I will buy the new one, as the oil will eat my new bushings.
  10. Appying "Raybestos 545-1016B Sway Bar Repair Kit" 2 of these (on each side): Old parts: Installed:
  11. I bought new radiator on ebay for 47 usd, shipping was free to Miami, and then I paid just for few pounds shipping to Dominican Republic, it is a light device. After, I (mechanic did it) changed some hoses, and added the liquid. As I had little of green and little of red, I mixed together, that was wrong, add only one type of the liquid. So you just buy two gallons and add the liquid, until is full. Do not add liquid on the department on the left side. Do not add normal water, well on the gas station guy added the water in that department until the end, and while I got home, the tap on the bottom of radiator was broken, and all liquid went out. Managed to drive one kilometer without the liquid. On ebay you can get also the fan, and radiator support, mounting tie, blade for fan, hoses, and radiator cap. I bought this cap and here is the search for Nissan pathfinder 1995 radiator.
  12. Guys, how this swap looks like? It is a motor TD27T, turbo Diesel de frontier 2000 (43 km per gallon). They also changed the transmission (of course). Is this a good solution? It looks very nice outside as well
  13. At the end it looks like this: It does produce sound whooooooummmm when accelerating... Changing the air intake cost was 300 pesos (8 usd), I paid 400 pesos. 829-843-2476 is phone of Martin, the mechanic (Spanish only), located next to Hospital Centro Medico Bavaro - Punta Cana. Actually this is not useful for you guys, except if you come as tourists to Punta Cana. As you can see, mechanic is in the t-shirt, in December, as the temperature in Caribbean was 78F today.
