Im getting about 19 on the highway...hoping for 20 with new plugs and SRI...it all depends on your driving style too. I baby mine, cruise control at 5 over the speed limit on any highway and not a lot of city driving

I would say costs involved just to get the parts would be a lot, installation itself probably not that difficult, just tedious and lots and lots of steps...Your gonna need a tcase, front diff, front and rear axle, CV axles, hubs, shifter for 4wd through the floor would need to be installed, etc...

Do you notice anything else with the truck? Any CEL or high idle or rough idle? Go scan your codes, sometimes you will have existing codes but no CEL.

Brembo is a great rotor. I want to have the best brakes so I dont get in an accident, dont have fade problems, etc, so i will be getting brembo when i need new ones.

It was a 7.3, and they have had the 6.0 or w/e size it is for a couple years now, and problems ever since. I think they did a twin turbo design on the redesigned super duty's, but doubt its gonna work any better. more parts to break

Who said anything about full size pickups being gay? i said cummins is. Its essentially a preference thing, i didnt mean it as seriously as your taking it. My family is Ford ppl, my dad had an 00 Powerstroke F250 (b4 they downsized it and had all kinds of problems) and he now has an 03 Excursion with the V10. I enjoy nothing more then driving a big truck, Ive just never seen the appeal of the Dodges, and I wish nissan wouldnt make that mistake. I honestly think the Titan is the best looking too, GM is going way to carlike with the look, and the ram and f series are just not doing it for me. Kind of off topic, but did anyone read the motor trend truck of the year thing? They criticized the Ford for having too much open space in the wheel well, which really pissed me off because 1. thats the way a truck is supposed to look and 2. it leaves room for larger tires and more suspension flex while off roading, which is a potential use for a lot of truck buyers. They awarded it to the tundra for bringing so many new features to the truck market. What are they? big and small V8's? Every company has that. 4wd? LSD? sunroof? But the fact that Ford is offering a class IV (i think) dualie for sale at dealers is not something that is important to the truck market. Way to kiss Toyotas ass.

For any of you who have done this, did the original bushings have a metal sleeve on it? Im not sure if its necessary to remove the sleeve or not. -

We are going to get a couple extra blades this morning. We are still gonna have to grind down the head of the bolts. The front mounts came off fine, its the nuts and bolts inside of the drums that were bad. I tried to use and impact wrench on the one nut and it was so soft it immediately rounded it. -

All i have is new bushing, so I think we are going to be grinding down the head of the bolt to the bracket on pretty much all of the others and praying that works...i read on one forum that someone used a sawzall on the bolt between the mounting points on the bracket, so if i need to cut those parts that shouldnt be a problem, just grinding will take a while and SUCK. -

Ok im in the middle of doing it. What are the proper sizes for the nut and bolts, since the nuts are a different size then the bolts? I used 3/4" socket and it claimed my first breaker bar already, breaking the male end off in the female end in the socket. Thanks. edit: seems like one of the bolts wont come off even after getting the nut off. Any way to get it loose or cut it off without a plasma cutter? -
yea 300 days is GAY dank:why you mugging me for 300 bucks?

My only problem is how well does the stuff stay secured up there? I would put a little shield in the front or something cuz if your in an accident almost anything can do some damage, and any passengers would be the first to feel that...I love the idea though and might start looking into something like that...love it Pezzy!! -

Wow pezzy, thats pretty ingenious. wish i had that kind of ingenuity. -
welcome to the forum, your in the right place. Some members have fit 31x10.50's with some trimming, though i think only stock SE wheels can fit them. You can do grill guards, tail light guards, roof racks, skid plates, lockers, up to a 2 inch suspension lift, rock sliders...the problem is most of these you can only get from one or two manufacturers, so they can be pricey. Check out the R50 forum for more details. :worthless:

like bosch needs any help with bad rep...im never touching a bosch product again

I bought the new ones from 4x4parts.com, i think they are about 100 a piece. Ive had lots of fun in the snow with them and my sister (retard) left it in 4wd on dry pavement for an hour or so (30 miles) and they arent giving me any problems. With the lift, get manual locking hubs so you dont put stress on the CV axles until you need 4wd.

ok well the local harbor freight has the 12 ton press so im getting that...does anybody have any advice on a spray to use to hopefully make the nuts and bolts a little more manageable? Im going to start spraying them today and soak them 2 or 3 times a day until saturday when i start replaceing. I may still get new ones but i dont have a blow torch and dont really want to get into grinding.
