  1. When did Bosch get into audio? I would sell the truck right away based on Bosch's reliability as of late... If it's the Bose system I'd keep it...the Bose in my 97 Pathy is better then the on that was in my 99 Mercedes except the Pathy has no subwoofer
  2. I got one of those from a DC camera, I was only 7 over too
  3. Id love to have that thing go off right behind my head
  4. Good to know you will be around, there's been some commotion when people thought you were gone...any chance of the full skid sets coming back or are you done with them?
  5. Now thats a horn, hed have to put it on his roof
  6. Is that a serious question? Do you value horespower and performance? If you don't want it I would be interested if possible...
  7. Can't say I blame you...I gotta work on getting the lift and new tires before worrying too much about skids...
  8. Whos silver R50 is that? Hemis are nice trucks, hope its reliable for ya...
  9. I dont think the allmode 4wd has a neutral setting...
  10. The year your looking at is unibody, where i *believe* the xterra is ladder frame, so you could do a body lift on it... Engine is the same, but the pathfinder is definitely more comfortable to drive and much roomier...pathfinder looks a lot better but doesnt have the aftermarket support that x's do...R50's will go forever if you take care of it and don't abuse it (nothing wrong with a little fun though). Probably the biggest reason you should get a Pathy is so you can hang out with us
  11. Mine has the GR2's, I don't know how old mine are but they are great as of now with 115k on the clock, They are definitely a little on the stiff side...I think you don't always need strut bearings but its recommended, but other members have said any aftermarket ones are crap and to go with the nissan ones for that...
  12. Or if you were really smart you would get a 96-99 which has the benefit of a little extra power on a couple hundred pound lighter SUV. Unibody has its advantages in the on road handling, mine has NO squeeks or rattles, I can 21mpg on a smooth highway, it has more power to get you through the mountains, newer interior, etc... And much more stylish then the boxy style WD The only reason I would consider a WD is either for the easy body lift or the tighter LSD then the LSD in the R50 (96-04).
  13. Are the 30x9.50's skinnier then the stock size for an SE wheel? I really really like the wrangler silentarmors, but they have a softer compound and half the life expectancy of the BFG's...havent checked out hte Bridgestone's since Costco has the BFG's for a killer price including installation, disposal, and balancing
  14. Every vehicle Ive owned did this except for my 99 Mercedes ML 320 because the torque converter didn't lock up at speeds above 50, so at 70 Im at 3k rpm's, but I still got about 23-24 on the highway...
  15. Finally got it off, i ended up removing the bolts for the tank and moving it around...Dean: I am trying to spend as little as possible, but those would be nice one day. So I know I need new bumper sliders for both the bumper and the frame (thats what courtesy nissan calls them, the plastic pieces in the fender that you slide the bumper one) and a new drivers side mounting bracket...the part that the bracket mounts on is all bent out of shape as well, so idk what Im gonna do about that, i tried banging it back into place with no luck.
  16. How did you get to the rear bolt on the washer tank?
  17. For those of you who know how or have done this, how did you get to the nut behind the windshield washer tank? I can only fit shallow sockets down there but the bolt is too long and i cant get the wrench on. If i use a wrench i cant get a good enough grip because of the flanges on the bracket and i slip off. That is the last bolt i need to remove, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike
  18. What's wrong with 30x9.50's? Mine had them when I bought it, and the only way I can get BFG A/T's is 30x9.50, they don't make it in the stock size for a 97 SE
  19. You get a honda it will get stolen, accords are disappearing left and right now, mine was stolen before I got the pathy (why i got the pathy). Get an altima or camry or something that is not as stolen as any honda. I love honda's, especially accords, but I don't want to see that happen to anyone else.
  20. Ok, I ended up removing my rusted and rattling exhaust shields this weekend, I'll tackle that during my spring break in a week hopefully. Thanks for the info.
  21. Dude these people really dont like you
  22. And these channels would be which part on that diagram? I think we are going to get the tool since my dad has to take off the panels on his truck as well...Thanks for all the other info, its really helpful.
