The only way I know how to do it is by taking off the actual sunroof glass...if you PM me your email addy I will send you the section of the manual that describes how to take it off, it took me maybe 5 mins to take mine off. Then you can easily do it

it will affect your aerodynamics, maybe .1mpg if that

My bug guard is OEM Nissan equipment, so either it was an option for the original purchase or bought from the dealer before I got the pathy. I might put it on ebay this summer, so let me know if you are interested at some point. Also, it fits fine with the grill guard but the look wasn't what i wanted.

Mine were rusted through, Im still debating replacing them or not...

I thought this was actually a good thread really getting into some good topics...tire heat/ friction, aerodynamics, engine torque, we hit on some really important points, and we had some pretty intelligent commentary and views on it all.

mine did while in neutral and being revved. You could always get under there and give the heat shields a bang with a screwdriver and youll probably here them rattle

check, double check, and double check again...i wanna do things right the first time instead of taking care of damage. Thanks.

The stock one can handle that much current? I was thinking about replacing my stock fogs with some higher powered square fogs...

sounds like an exhaust rattle to me...if you can leave the vehicle in park and stick ur head under the truck and have someone push the gas pedal and see if you hear the rattle...mine was the exhaust shields on the downpipes

Nobody has mentioned the fact that the engine torque curve in top gear compared with aerodynamics plays a large roll as well. WD's have no aerodynamics, so your ideal RPM's is where your engine has the least stress in the torque curve to move the truck at that momentum. My old Mercedes was designed for the autobahn and its maximum efficiency came at about 80-85 mph, where it was engineered to be in the right spot on the torque curve with respect to its aerodynamics in order to maintain speed with minimum effort. Just figured I would throw that out there.

I have had the whole sunroof and all off. Honestly its easier to tell all of this with the sunroof off, its a relatively simple procedure. Theres some plastic decorative pieces on the sunroof itself that have little plastic screws holding it on. Take them out, pull gently so it unclips, then take 4 nuts off the sunroof and its off. I took mike off to condition the weatherstripping and put my sunroof cover back on track. You can easily see the track while looking down without the sunroof panel on their. if you want, pm me your email and I can email you the haynes manual type thing that describes how to take apart pretty much anything on your truck.

my 97 SE is rated stock for 265/70 R15, which is about the same size as 30x9.5, just a little smaller

my 99 Mercedes ML 320 did nothing if you tried to restart it. It was all computerized and recognized the engine is already running so it does nothing. It also had a neat feature I wish the pathy has where all you had to do was turn it to start and let go and it would crank it until it started...

Can out-of-balance wheels cause warped brake rotors?

Does anyone else have any opinion on this? I can grab them from work (Home Depot) and not have to mess with the online ones if these will work fine...

I would love to have your professor...mine just talked about how to derive the equations, not even the uses of them
