  1. to me its mostly about the mileage/power increase, and this is the first proven system i have heard of...
  2. woohoo...now you have given me something i want to do, ive been nervous about mufflers...so how much of the exhaust did they actually do? cat back? What was the total cost including the installation? What kind of warranty does everything hold? Sorry to ask so many questions but I am very seriously considering this for next summer probably...
  3. Fueler, anything feels quicker then our 3.3 except for the old 3.0...my pathfinder feels quick from 0-10 and thats about it...my old 4 banger accord, my dads excursion, my cousings old ass escort, hell even my john deere feel faster
  4. Fueler: i think you are thinking burnouts...it will spin both tires for maybe a foot before taking off...and its wierd because with my old tires i decided to properly roast them before getting the new wheels/tires, and half the times one wheel would spin and the other half both wheels would spin (i do have LSD but i thought it would break loose before doing that)...
  5. street tires would be less likely to spin...bfg rugged trails, a fairly street oriented tire...i think a lot has to do with the 4.6s, i drove my friends that had 4.3s and it mine felt quicker with bigger tires
  6. The tires I have now are 265/65R17, which comes out to 31.5 inches, and it will spin the tires a little on dry pavement and does just fine around the city...i think it would be fine off road...btw i do have the 4.6 gears too
  7. There is no way the VG33 is underpowered when people are SASing WD21s and running giant tires on them...it will not be agile but the VG33 can turn the tires...
  8. i would look into junk yards, i believe the rear axle assembly on your year R50 is the same as an earlier model, and I think the LSD was more prevalent on older ones...
  9. Well I am sorry to hear that, I got lucky enough to get 4.6's in my 97 SE...and didn't you have the geolanders on your old R50?
  10. I believe for the 00-04 R50's the SE model got the 4.6 gears...the type of gears you have should be on a metal plate on the passenger side of the engine bay (i believe on the firewall)...HGxx is your gears...
  11. I would ask them what all comes with the axle, the ones i bought had the boots and grease with it...
  12. Are you doing a cat back setup? I think we need to meet up after you get done that because if you see a noticeable mileage increase i will definitely be copying you...
  13. nevermind i noticed the lower spring seat in another picture...it looks like its mostly drop brackets and such, wouldn't that give you essentially the same flex as us?
  14. im in love...you need to get your hands on some of those kits and send them our way... btw: did anyone else notice the one truck looked like it had a coil over instead of the struts up front? and one more thing, why do the japanese style pathfinders have those large wings on the back?
  15. Your exhaust is still the stock size before the muffler, which I am sure helps keep the low end torque...
  16. hmmmmm...steering wheel...airbags...i think i will leave that one until last, thanks for all the help
  17. Ok, I will check that out with my uncle this weekend...
  18. I think the largest spacers people have used are 1"...you can go anything smaller than that...if by factory you mean nissan i wouldn't expect them to have them, but a fabrication shop should be able to do it for you
  19. I have not checked yet, but I don't know how they got the steering wheel so crooked, im taking it to another firestone and telling them it has gotten worse since i had the other place do it and hopefully they will take care of that
  20. Well the right strut I know was not even close to ligned up, but the caster was in spec and camber was at -2.06, .06 out of spec which they said was not a big deal. They can't get my steer ahead anything close to the wheel being straight and can't get the toe all the way in though, which was not a problem before the lift...
  21. which way is that? I have mine on top like you did, is the way 02silver did it the way that doesn't potentially damage the CV?
